At long last, and by popular demand, I decided to sit through a show that left scars on my brain when I was just a mere child. That said, Lost Tapes COULD BE one of the most unique shows to come out of the early 2000s, and I think you'll see why...

"Let's take a guess" immediately followed by "NO GUESSING" is genuinely funny though

I used to be a big fan of this show as a kid until one night my parents were having a little party and I got on youtube on the family computer and watched a clip of the chupacabra episode. Little did i know that they were playing music for the party from the computer so I suddenly blasted the entire party with blood curdling screams of a dramatized chupacabra attack. no one ever said anything to me about it but i think about it alot

I used to watch lost tapes all the time as a kid. My funniest memory is when I was watching the Oklahoma octopus. My dad saw me watching this and said “you know Santa isn’t real, right?”
“Yeah…” I responded.
“This isn’t real either,” my dad said, gesturing at the tv.

Screaming “en espanol!?!” At a chupacabra growl is crazy work.

As someone with a fascination for Cryptozoology, I can confirm The Lost Tapes did NOT make up the Oklahoma Octopus
When you looks past Big Foot & Mothman, North American Cryptids get WEIRD

Monsters inside me helped to fuel my love of microbiology, and now I am going to a doctoral program in the subject, so I guess I owe it to the AP executive who got scared by a dog as a kid.

the true horror of the vampire episode isn't the monster, it's the fact that there was a point in time where a house of that size could be bought and fixed up by a jobless man during a recession

This show terrified me as a kid, specifically the vampire episode and the hospital alien episode where the “alien” was basically just a crab… I just wanted to watch Meerkat Manor

I would also cry in the presence of a mouse deer. So small.....little hooves.....so cute

"Cave demon war slop" is an incredible phrase 😂

0:10 completely valid reaction to a mouse deer, I worked in a place where they had one free roaming around an enclosed garden and it would come right up to you. Cutest thing ever

i remember seeing this show and being so genuinely convinced that bigfoot was real, i didn’t want to use the bathroom for like 3 days because i thought he’d come out the bathroom shower or something
