I love Nakiso.

I AM ADDICTED TO THIS SONG!

Like + Sub, Follow me on X @DRKDiscovers I update about future videos there!!

Fun fact! (Not sure if anyone has commented this yet)

In the first life Miku is in (sunflower miku) it was actually foreshadowing the rest of the song/game, as sunflowers are often associated with the concept of long life and longevity!

Fun fact: the ‘retry’ in this song’s title is actually ‘輪廻’ (rinne) in Japanese. ‘Rinne’ means reincarnation – the ENDLESS cycle of life and death. But ‘retry’ just means trying again, like in a game.

Channelcaststation animated both Mesmerizer and Retry Now. His art style is so cute, and the song is incredibly addictive. It was a wonderful collaboration.

The thing I noticed about this song that wasn't mentioned is at 9:43 if you look at the date it's actually Miku's birthday!

You can never go wrong with Nakiso’s instruments

Thank you for listening to this song!
In Japan, there is a custom of making a promise by saying, "If you lie, you'll have to swallow a thousand needles." I think this is what Miku is referring to!
I used a translator, so I apologize if there are any mistakes!

I honestly got sad because you reacted to Nakiso's song but didnt watch Retry Now, so I thought "dang I love this music :( so sad he is not gonna listen to it" BUT YOURE HERE MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE. I love you, hope we get to be together in the next life ♡

I'm Japanese, so I'll leave a comment using Google Translate.
Nakiso's songs aren't often featured on TV,
but he's a wonderful Vocaloid producer whose rhythm and tuning are very well thought out.
Thank you for featuring my favorite content!

My interpretation of the song, is that this Miku, beyond being a yandere with the occasional magical girl, is Death itself. In the final verse, she says both "become one with me" and "harmonize with death" which would equate Miku to being death itself. And it makes sense, the MC is trapped in loop, which happens by rejecting Miku, in rejecting death he is "born again" in a new game, stubbornly continuing the cycle of life. Miku wants you to fall in love her, to accept death and liberate yourself and her from the cycle. This also transforms the "fate kneels before me" as more than just a prideful statement, but is quite literal as fate is a destination, and ruin is the ultimate fate of anything.

"oh she's so cute!" literally not even a second later "is she a fucking serial killer??" (I'm talking about the intro)

This reminds me SO MUCH of Madoka Magica. Maybe it's just the magical girl miku, or the "retrying", but it just reminds me of how Homura kept retying over and over again, trying to save Madoka. Also, the transition at 4:20 is just PEAKKK

i always thought of this song as having miku kill her "lover" and then herself, when shes in the magical girl phase before the cut scene she is actually shown stabbing herself with her magical girl staff which really stood out to me. also if you havent yet i think it would be great if you reacted to coin locker baby by maretu, its quite a shocker to those who havent heard of it loll. love your content really!!

HELL YEAH MORE NAKISO🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️ I would also recommend you listen to Servant of Evil and Daughter of Evil by mothy, which are part of the Evillious Chronicles and every song in that series is so peak

“Shes so cute” proceeds to get murdered by the same person he complimented 8:27

Retry Now is basically Miku being a yandere/very obsessive and possessive😭

i like the detail with how the magical girl version at the start looks likes shes about to attack someone, and at the second time, it looks like she actually hurts herself

3:10 LITERALLY DID THE MESMERIZER DANCE

FINALLY LET'S GO! THIS MUSIC IS ADDICTIVE

The numbers are the death (retry) count 4:47
