"isnt that right miku?"

Literally miku: ( ○         ○)
                                V

Nakiso is known for making songs with dark themes, often linked to unhealthy relationships.
Some songs actually feature characters who resort to suicide at the end.

7:24 fun fact!: from the number on how many times miku “retries on life” shows how long she’s been in the time loop and that’s 17 million years

Miku went from "SAILOR MOON" to "yandere"

2:40 tho it does seem kinda like she's skipping towards the "player" like shooshi had suggested, I think at this part it looks more like she smashes the wrench on her own head, but it gets cut off by the magical girl transformation and instead just shows her doing a cutsie pose. And there's another point where something gets cut off too. At 2:51, she pulls the wand to her abdomen like she's about to you know what but it gets cut off by another transition.

There's also two scenes (the skipping one) and the second time Magical Girl Miku appears where she's readily going after herself.
The second time Magical Girl Miku appears is where she's about to use the star of her staff, lining it towards her stomach and the frolicking/skipping one is where she's about to bonk herself.

Some details you may have missed! (+ some theories)
The first time she transforms, aka the beggining of the video, she swings her staff towards you as if shes hitting you with a baseball bat before we cut to the 'real miku(s)'. Also the number goes from 0 to 1, this important later.
In the second time where she transforms into her magical girl form, she stabs herself with the magical staff, to then cut to how she stabbed herself with the long text and everything, this is imprtant because it indicated that every move that this magical miku does represents what actually happens, her staff being whatever weapon she has in these timelines.
Would also like to point out how she speaks to US when shes in her magical pink dimension, meaning we are aware of what shes does, but we always come back to the 'game' we play with her, making us and the person she loves every run a different person, we are aware while they are not.
At the end, I don't believe she throws herself off the building right before the transformation, but instead is ressetting the timeline of timelines, by this i mean that even though all these runs are different timelines with different endings, we still play them in some order, we get one ending after another, thats why the counter goes up, but why do I think it as that way? Well this is where the timeloop theory comes in.
At the very end of the video it shows a normal version of miku near some flowers, and the numbers go from 270M to 0 connecting with the beggining of the video (this can mean that the numbers are how many times we died and not how many runs we have done) and how the only option on the menu was 'retry'. Miku had not only killed them and ressetted the timeline again, she had errased every memory, every run we ever had.
But why would Miku do this? This also connects to that last frame, i believe that since miku stays concious throught the runs her mental darkness grows. At first she wouldnt even want to kill them if we rejected her, but slowly grew more imaptient by how somehow they couldnt be together in every run. Miku would know how shes very screwed up mentaly, so she just ressets her memory.
Unfortunaly we are probably some kind of adicted to this one game and just replay it all again, and again, retrying every time.

It kinda reminds me of Madoka Magica in a way, I think it has to do with all the timelines n the magical girl fit looks similar to Madoka's

My interpretation of the song, is that this Miku, beyond being a yandere with the occasional magical girl, is Death itself. In the final verse, she says both "become one with me" and "harmonize with death" which would equate Miku to being death itself. And it makes sense, the MC is trapped in loop, which happens by rejecting Miku, in rejecting death he is "born again" in a new game run, stubbornly continuing the cycle of life. Miku wants you to fall in love her, to accept death and liberate yourself and her from the cycle. This also transforms the "fate kneels before me" as more than just a prideful statement, but is quite literal as fate is a destination, and ruin is the ultimate fate of anything.

Unrelated, but the idea of metamorphosis is also interestsing. Reciting knowledge from memory, I am not an experts, but metamorphosis is of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, so it can reproduce. The caterpillar actually has a longer life span than the butterfly, so engaging in metamorphosis is somewhat of a death sentence, just so it can reproduce. The magical girl form would then be the butterfly form of this Miku. It's bright and colorful, she transfomes just for the short amount of time she can kill you or herself, then the "reproducing" part comes in the "re"creation of the world where they can try again.

STOP TORTURING THE MIKU PLUSHIE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I noticed that the date at 3:18 is August 31st, 2007. And you want to know what is so special about this date? THAT IS MIKUS RELEASE DATE!

2:11 i relate to the line "ill be reborn this life is too depressing" as its hard, because i have been through a lot mikus retry now song shedded light on how i feel at times and a lot of her other songs. sooshi im so glad u covered this song! #stopmikuplushabuse LEAVE OUR GIRL ALONE 💔

5:35 "isnt that right miku? Miku:🙂

7:36 Fun Fact, it’s wasn’t Miku that actually die, it was the main character playing the game. That’s how she has the pink suit with the star staff, reincarnating him 207,944,152 times.

8:41 im pretty sure that she's killing the player(us) and then herself bc we only get to see her magical girl form when we both die

I personally think that this miku is an AI. She can see the player and thats why shes loves them. WHenever the Player is killed by her or the Player resets, she kills herself to also be in the next timeline to the point where she is tired of it.

I know its dark, but I think Miku portrays a character who is upset at the fact she couldn't be with someone she's interested in and decides to take their life then take her own, hoping to be reborn and one day become a couple with that person. This is also why I think the song is called "retry now". Another thing I noticed was that when she is shown in different outfits and holding different weapons, that could literally be her in different bodies and showing us how she took the life of her crush, and maybe even her own, just trying to get with them. Couldn't take no for an answer I guess.

2:54 at this part miku stabbed herself if you didn’t notice

4:52 why did miku write a fanfic bro😭🙏
