Can a 5’2" rider handle the new Triumph lineup? Join my dad and me as we head down to Lings Triumph in Norfolk to test out seat heights, ergonomics, and overall comfort across a whole range of bikes—from the Daytona 660 and Scrambler 400X to the massive Bonneville Bobber!

With my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests just around the corner, I'm on the hunt for the perfect upgrade from my 125cc. We check out everything from retro classics to adventure bikes, discuss insurance, and test out the famous "one-leg technique."

I am a woman rider. I have the 2015 triumph street triple, the 2020 triump street triple, and recently bought the 2026 triumph trident special edition because it has cruise control. My husband and I like to go on long rides and the cruise control really helps. My bikes were also lowered because i am 5'4'. I love the triumphs so much!

400's are the way to go for your first bike imo. It makes your motorbike journey more exciting doing it in stages

Going from a 125cc the cbr500r is certainly worth a look. Low seat height and manageable power and definitely a step up from what you are riding right now, plus it looks amazing

Don't be intimidated about how many CC's the motorcycle has. remember. You could always control it with your throttle.

I ride a Triumph Street Twin 900. Perfect bike for the vertically challenged like myself whilst still packing a bunch of useable torque throughout the rev range. It a blast to ride and nothing beats the exhaust sound IMO. You should consider it. It’s now known as the Speed Twin 900

Best bikes for short riders are the Speed 400 or even a Bobber … obviously two very different price points & style, weight, etc.

Don’t forget that you may sometimes have to stop on a slope; I don’t think you’ll feel comfortable in that situation with the Daytona 660 or the Scrambler 400X.
When Krystal mentioned a supersport bike over 600cc her dad raised a red flag always... and he is right.
For me, the CBR500R is the best Honda bike that suits you. On the Kawasaki side, you have the Ninja 500 (SE) or the Ninja ZX-4RR (red flag from your dad).
I realize I'm very lucky to be 5.9 feet tall.😊

Gotta say you look really good on that bobber … I’ve seen you sitting on sports bikes and you never really look fully comfortable on them because of the height thing but you also looked really comfy on the bobber and could touch the ground on both sides even if it was just tippy toes … being able to touch the ground gives you so much more control of the bike and confidence too. Riding isn’t supposed to be hard work but being on a bike that’s too tall for you makes it so much harder than it should be and most times less enjoyable having to try to balance it all the time on one foot with your butt cocked half way off the seat every time you have to stop ❤

Hey Krystal, love the video. I was crossing my fingers you were going to try the Tracker 400. Got to sit on one recently. Felt nice and comfortable.
Small tip for heavy bikes: While sitting, twist the handle bars center or in opposite direction of the kickstand. Takes off a lot of the weight and you can lift it up easier. Hugs! Can't wait for the next video. Good luck next month on your Training test.

I think the tracker would be your perfect first big bike, please give it a test ride once you have your licence. Insurance should not be too steep either. :virtualhug::virtualhug::yougotthis:

YES TO THE BOBBER ......love that ..throw on off road tires they look so mean ..i love them
Bobber is wide and bit tall ....because it wide as you said ...but with been so wide it looks easy to keep up right when you stop

I would say that you look more the part on tracker it looks like more fitting ....
