Could you imagine if in Ghosts 2, Rorke reveals that all the events of Ghosts 1, was just Rorke's plans for Logan's character development. Seeing which son between Logan and Hesh would remain strong after the destruction of the free world, their father's death and sibling separation. I mean even the fact that Logan has no lines throughout the whole game, goes to show that Rorke loves the strong silent type who follows orders, the perfect soldier.

You never realize what you've lost until its gone. A Ghost sequel we are never gonna get because people did not understand at the time how good Ghost actually was.

The main reason is Logan's undying loyalty this is supported in the unlockable files in the games it goes even deeper from Rorke's pov.
