I don't care what people say about you, Jon. I think you're a great guy!

“Rejecting that life I didn’t belong to. And that was the best decision I’ve ever made” - proud of you brother 💪

You do such a beautiful job of making me feel like I’m a friend who you’ve taken along for an adventure.
You’re a calm well-spoken storyteller who’s willing to share your skills, knowledge and love of nature.
Your chemistry with Xander is truly wonderful and makes me smile.
Congratulations on five years. You’re very talented and I hope you can keep going for many more years to come.
Cheers!
Matt

Great trip guys. John, you said something that resonates in my thoughts. So many things can happen to you, live your dreams while your still able. I’m old now, but still living my dreams as far as my body can take me. Over the winter I had leg surgery and now able to walk without pain. Looking forward (at 74) to hiking the Long Trail in Vermont this spring (132.6 miles). Thank you for inspiring me and for being you. Namaste

One of the very few adventurers that is actually enjoying the environment. All others just travel, set up camp eat, sleep and go again. This guy explores the area and takes us along. Thanks!

John, you are my favorite UTube channel! Zander is the best companion. Please give us 5 more years with many videos so we can travel on the lakes and fish with you. It’s the most relaxing therapy available anywhere!! Thank you John!

Your deleted scenes made it into xanders final cut. That’s pretty funny. 🤣.

Ditto to everyone else’s comments about your talent, skill, camaraderie with Xander. Thank you for getting me out of my Living Room and into the wild. I’ve been toying for two years now with the idea of having my own YouTube channel for people over 50. I have extensive camping experience. I’m a fisherman and a hunter and my passion is motorcycle touring and camping along the way. Being a grandfather now makes it a little more bittersweet the idea of being gone for periods of time but I may yet pull it off. Thanks again. You guys are awesome!

I know it is likely just YT music, but the song that starts around 43:20 (and I think is also in the majority of your vids) just fits perfectly! Love these videos and coming back to them often. Keep em coming Jon!
