You can fire a rifle at 16 but can't play Modern Warfare until you're 18

The discouragement from Stephanie's dad is awful, poor lass. I'm rooting for her 🎉

That Oli Foster is full of himself, always one in a group

In tears because she fell over😊 She won't last long.

I joined at 16 back in the 60's. My training was 3 years at ''Beastly College''.   We had WW1 uniforms (SD). We lived in huts known as 'spiders', which had been condemned soon after WW1 and we were chased from arsehole to breakfast time. Punishments were severe. Pay until you we 17 1/2 was £1 10/- a week and after that you went on to 'mans pay' of £7/week - wow!    If you can get hold of a book called 'Captain Cat' (those two C's might have been K's) first book written by Robert Hollis (author of The Virgin Soldiers) you will get an idea of what Army Apprentice School was like!  Grim

The AAC  teaching infantry skills is jarring. Best instructors are Gurkhas in my opinion - so polite you rag yourself to not disappoint them

I was in Harrogate in 67 when it was just Royal Signals. Scott squadron.Anybody remember then.

Brits got such a huge vibe in the Army. Fuck this ist the shit. As a German I always was impressed by the ironing board in the Barracks, when we were in British Garrisons in Germany. Pure discipline, very basic, nothing unnecessary. US Army will never reach this level. Never slept so bad on a mattress but I will never forget how cosy it was in its simplicity.

Joined at 16 myself, left at 45. Good luck kids, stick with it and have fun too. You’re the best of the best.

07:30 think the status got to his head lol, I was nearly crying with laughter at that sentence

Shin splints 😂😂😂. Had that for most my 12 years in.

That guy defo was a party animal saying he didn't put powder up his nose xD he was on the cusp of slipping up xD

i joined up in 1976 at 16yrs old as an apprentice in the Royal Army Medical Corps, qualified as an SRN & An ODP served until is was 56years old ,best years of my life

Being one of 5 generations of Royal Marines, this is the best thing these young people can do which will make strong purposeful adults of them. I was a previous Royal Marines Cadet for 7 years which was a tremendous advantage.

Allowing her to drop that SA80 like a handbag, lol not in my day!!

The AAC screw's cap badge needs to move above his left eye 😉
