✙ If there are any mistakes with the labelling, like if a patch is actually machine-translated or not, please let me know.
✙1 Quantum Gate (Saturn) was released officially in English on Windows 3.x
✙2 The patch for Waialae no Kiseki: Extra 36 Holes (Saturn) activates the English mode which was already available on the disc.
✙3 The translation for Nekketsu Oyako (Saturn) was ported from the Playstation translation by PentarouZero and Al LaPrade.
✙4 The translation for In Magical Adventure: Fray CD: Xak Gaiden (PC Engine Super CD-ROM²) is mostly complete but there are still no subtitles, so AI dubbing has been used instead.
✙5 Kisuishou Densetsu Astal (Saturn) was released officially in English as Astal but with numerous changes, such as instrumental intro, less life points, limited continue, etc.
✙6 Both versions of the addendum patches for Dragon Quest VI: Maboroshi no Daichi (Super Famicom) complete the untranslated messages and fix bugs in the NoPrgress English translation. The difference is that Cleartonic's version provides a full overhaul of the script, whereas RadMageIRL's version does not. The game is also available officially in English on Nintendo DS, iOS, and Android.
✙7 The patch for Virtua Cop 2 (Dreamcast) borrows assets and code from the English-language release of Virtua Cop 2 included in "Sega Smash Pack: Volume 1".
✙8 Ar tonelico II (PlayStation 2) was officially released in English but with terrible translation.
✙9 The script for Torneko no Daibouken: Fushigi no Dungeon (Super Famicom) was ported from the HD remaster version.
✙10 These following games are NSFW:
-Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o Utau Shoujo YU-NO (PC-9801)
-Sayonara o Oshiete ~Comment te Dire Adieu~ (Windows)
YU-NO's translation is based on the English scripts from the 2011 Windows fan translation by TLWiki.
✙11 The translation for Umineko no Naku Koro ni Portable 1 (PlayStation Portable) was ported from the Umineko Project version.
✙12 Son Son II (PC Engine) was previously translated by Sgt. Bow Hack & someitalian123 in 2017. This new version has a larger text box, a lowercase font and added punctuation, such as apostrophes.
✙13 There are two patches for Arcade Gears Vol. 1: Pu-Li-Ru-La (Saturn). One is a port of the arcade version and the other is a "Proper" translation by DaVince21.
✙14 The tools and translation for Neon Genesis Evangelion: Koutetsu no Girlfriend (Saturn) were created using AI, but the PSP translation was also used as a reference.
✙15 These following games are partially machine-translated. Most of the text was ported from the official Windows version or pevious fan translation projects and the rest was machine-translated:
-Puyo Puyo Tetris
-Dai Gyakuten Saiban 1 & 2
-Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional
-Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippo Dan
✙16 Fate/Grand Order Arcade (Arcade) is partially machine-translated. Some parts of the story are similar to those in the mobile version, so the script from that version was used. The rest was machine-translated.
✙17 GS Mikami: Joreishi wa Nice Body (Super Famicom) was translated using multiple sources, including both human and machine translation.
✙18 Wizard and the Princess (FM-7, PC-8801) was officially released in English on the Apple II, Atari 8-bit, IBM PC, etc.
✙19 The Famicom version of Meikyuu-jima was officially released in English as Kickle Cubicle but with different levels and script.
