We’re starting at home with a chat and some reasonably priced haircare finds from Aroma-Zone, before getting dressed and heading into town. There’s a Zara return that turns into more of a mission than expected, a browse at the new clothes and a wander through Cannes before stopping at Picard. You know I love a look in those freezers… and this time there’s lobster! 🦞
Back home, I’m making one of my usual snack concoctions. They might sound a little unusual, but there’s normally a reason behind what goes in 😂 I also share a batch of homemade food for Sugar and Silvia, before Ryan joins me for a catch-up about what’s next with our apartment renovations.

Wanted to express how happy I was with my grocery purchases last week.
I was trying something you've suggested. Because I leave alone it's hard to by fresh.
So I did get the big bag of Salmon and a large bag of Mediterranean grilled vegetables..
It came out great and thank you..

In France, you CANNOT RETURN an item you bought in-store unless it has a defect that wasn't visible at the time of purchase. Only items bought online can be returned for a refund, precisely because you can't try them on before paying.
If a store exceptionally agrees to take an item back, you will get a credit note valid for a year, never a cash refund.
So you should consider yourself lucky that the Zara manager agreed to give you a refund. You aren't in the UK anymore: different country, different laws. (All the laws are on the government website.)
