Before anyone takes it too serious, we're just having some fun... 😉 Decided to do a tier list ranking the bands and artists that YOU said have the reputation of having the most crazy/annoying/para-social fans, and some of the answers may surprise you.

On a serious note, while some bands and artists DO have the reputation of having crazy fans, it's usually a very small minority of fan bases, and most music fans are pretty normal... For the most part.

I also remember when Dave Grohl’s daughter criticized Taylor for her plane usage. And then thousands of swifties harassed her and send her death threats

I’m super shocked Nicki Minaj’s fans weren’t mentioned. Her fans are literally INSANE online. It’s spooky.

1% of Swifties being psychotic is still a massive amount of people because of just how huge Swift is. She has as many BAD fans as some big bands have as fans total.

My English teacher was a swiftie and she removed 3 (out of 20) points from every grade for the rest of the year after I said Taylor’s music was mediocre in a debate class

Sleep token right now has one of the worst fanbases out there. I love ST but man the toxic fans almost ruin it for me

@gazriddell9493 1 year ago

Dude is doing a 'toxic fans interaction' speedrun I see

I feel like Dream Theater fans are just harmless nerds who have the calculator app on their first page of apps on their phone

As a kpop fan of 7 years, I would 100% put them in S tier too. While not all fans are bad, most of them are. They are genuinely some of the most toxic people i’ve ever seen and it just keeps getting worse and worse every year. They attack anyone and everyone over simple opinions, they attack their own idols simply for having an ex girlfriend for just doing something they don’t agree with. Fan wars left and right and so much more the list really goes on and on. A LOT of them are also extremely parasocial. Not to mention sasaengs, which in short are insanely obsessive and parasocial fans, they are more common than they should be. Idols aren’t treated like normal human beings but more like products for entertainment, It’s sad to see.

I think Ghost fans can be split into two very distinct groups…

1. The OG fans
2. The TikTok fans after Ghost blew up on the platform

The TikTok fans are modeled after most K-pop and swifties fans.

The OG fans are modeled after typical metal fans like Slipknot, Rammstein, Slayer etc.

Honestly, ALL artist fanbases have a small group of screwballs that absolutely ruin it for the rest of them.

15:10 Yelling Slayer is the metal version of screaming "Free Bird" during encores.

What I dislike about some Pop and Rap fans is they can't seem to comprehend I don't wanna listen to their stuff and never wants to bend over when it's a communal playlist. They often say "Please don't play your "crazy music"" as if me playing Nothing Else Matters will summon a demon.

Sleep token fans attacked the weather man who was doing sleep token marketing ploy because it was an announcement of a release date instead of new song then they attacked nik because he wasn't serious enough and didn't pay attention to lyrics on his initial livestream reaction to caramel. Lolol

As a devoted TOOL fan, I expect us to place highly on the list

I used to work cd/dvd-sales. K Pop-fans were the worst when it came to shoplifting, cutting open the albums and only stealing the pictures inside.
At least fans from other styles of music would steal the music.

I love kpop, especially stray kids, but people get SO WILD it's scary, don't get me wrong, I adore Slipknot and ICP, but I do agree with the ratings

@HeroineDark 1 year ago

As a devoted Sabaton fan, I've never been happier to be at the bottom of a tier list.

18:59 as a ghost fan i HATE getting on the "fandom" side of tiktok because its horrendous. 14 year old sexualizint nameless ghouls and being super gatekeepy over an incredibly popular band

@LisaMons 1 year ago

Sleep token and Bad omens fans are both insanely popular on TikTok. I’m so disappointed, because most of them are just going crazy about vessels and Noah’s appearance. Yes, Noah is hot, yes vessel has a nice sixpack and body and is never wearing boxerbriefs, but guys, it’s still about the music.
And with Ren, maybe they are so supportive with his music, because it has such deep messages. And because he has such a hard past with his health that everybody wishes him the best and getting popular way more as he is right now

Ran into violent j and his daughter at a furry convention years ago, genuinely some of the nicest people I think ive ever met. The whole fanbase seems like a bunch of people who just fully embrace whatever makes them happy. I dont know of ive ever heard one of their songs all the way through but every interaction ive had with the fans has made me smile, some of the coolest and most genuine people out there
