This man is such a legend they named a drink after him.

Thanks for your service Mr. Collins. God bless Larry

A Vietnam vet AND a LEO?  The man is a double hero, and may God bless him.

Such a good one.  Thank you Tom Collins for everything you did over there from the bottom of my heart.  Larry, you too for bringing these to us via You Tube.  They’re all fascinating stories.

Love these vids Larry. You’re doing amazing work getting these stories out

Larry I have committed on your videos before, but I can’t help but tell you again. Thank you for keeping these soldiers stories alive. My dad was one of them.

God Bless SP4 Thomas Collins.   He passed away on April 14, 2022.  Thank you for your sacrifice and God Bless your soul in Heaven 🙏🏻🇺🇸

I have watched probably 20 of these Vietnam vet videos. They all move me. I am a veteran (1972-1978), but was never in the Elephant grass. I lost friends that went. My first college roommate was wounded in Chu Lai in 1969, had intense nightmares that caused him to sweat profusely. The sweat had an acrid smell to it. It got so that I knew he was having the nightmares simply by the smell (I had the top bunk). I would help him, insist he take a shower, change his bed for him; and never shared with anyone about his episodes. Today he still refuses to get help. He's on his third wife and is now 78 years old. He has physical scars that are visible, and healed. However, his invisible emotional state will be scarred forever. I have HUGE respect for these men. The 60's hippies, protesters, anti-veteran types made me sick back then, and even more so today. Shame on them, and shame on Jimmy Carter for pardoning the cowards that fled to Canada. God Bless the heroes that went to Vietnam to serve.

Great video and one of my favorites so far. The work Tom is doing educating and talking particularly to children is to be celebrated, it also listening to him has had a beneficial effect on him, so 2 good things come out of what he does.

Thank you for capturing these memories and posting these videos Larry 🙏🏼

Be awesome to meet this dude 🇺🇸
