I was born in 1978 so this was before my time. All the kids growing up looked up to the men who served in Vietnam. It angers me to hear how they were treated. To the men who served, please know there's a generation who respect and revere  you. These men are heroes. Thank you so for your service.

Thank you for your service sir.I, having been born in 1957 missed the wars and never served ,but I thank God for the men and women who did.Thank you again  sir.

I was there in 67 thanks for your service to everyone remember the ones that didn’t make it back home!!!! Thank you!

Mr. stuart seems like an awesome person. Thank you sir for your service and thank you for telling us your story..

I was in Vietnam 1968 - 1969. Served with the 82nd Abn 3rd Bragade 2nd Bn in Hue - Phu Bai attached to the 101st Abn Camp Eagle 1968 and moved to Phu Loi 1969. Tan Son Nhut was our forward area and Phu Loi was our rear area. Worked in Corridor D.

I absolutely love this. The veterans story is so peaceful everything he said was true. I love him like a brother. This is Eddie Masterson. I was in the 101st airborne in Vietnam and I know how this man feel remarkable peaceful respectable. Thank you sir welcome home.!❤

God bless you and thank you for my freedom very smart

Love these interviews.  I am the son of a Vietnam vet.  It is so important to  praise  and remember these brave men.
  We love all our vets.

Thank you for your service to our country and GOD BLESS YOU.

I've know Stu for over 50 years now. He is an amazing guy. My brother-in-law, Pete, escorted Stu's brother, Steve back home. So grateful for Stu and others service. Glad he has the opportunity to tell his story. No parades for these vets when they came home. What a state our country was in then. Still to this day, he is involved in many ways assisting others in life. Too young to serve then, but my brother was Vietnam Era Vet, and I completed 22 years when it was my time.

What a modest and magnificent man

I went in the army, February 1969 to want to Vietnam late December 69 101st airborne division, we had a few of you guys assigned to us from the 82nd airborne division

My father served with the third brigade of the 82nd airborne in 69 and 70 in Vietnam

My cousin was in 82nd airborne and was killed in 1969. I love and respect all veterans but I have a particular soft spot for Vietnam veterans.  Welcome home sir.

I love this story, heart of America right there… you hear his background and service and what it all means so precious and so real. This attitude of what freedom is, costs, means to him. GOD BLESS YOU Stuart Simonson for answering the call. I appreciate what you did for me as an American and I don’t take it for granted. You are a hero to me. Thank you

Welcome home brother. My role was running wire either on the ground or from pole to pole. Seven man crew, armed to the teeth. Always alert, caught mostly sniper fire when in the bush or on a pole. Many grunts said they wouldn't want my job nor would I want theirs. We had two jobs. Fought our way in, ran our wire, fought our way out. Not everyday but who knew when. No one to call on for help. Couldn't dwell on it or I'd go crazy like everyone else. Glad those days are over. Never thought I'd get out alive.

Excellent interview Stuart’s a hero

“The vast majority of us aren’t any different except for our experience.” Powerful statement and so very true. God bless you Stuart and thank you for your service and for your faith. Thank you again Larry for a job well done.

Thankyou for your service. I love you guys!
