Free will, our power and our doom!!! ❤

Lovely talk Fr Patrick .what a joy t be Catholic .

Saint John 8:51
"Amen, amen I say to you: If any man keep my word, he shall not see death for ever."

Love Ecclesiastes, especially at my age.  I'd question though whether an atheist has a hard time with death?  If that's it, it's better than the thought of going to Hell if you didn't make it through the narrow door! Hell defined as the  "Auto-exclusion"  from God, really Father?
hmm!  Doesn't judgement come in somewhere?   ""Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matt 25:41)

Don't like your logic there Father @ 8:18, "you didn't help me so I don't want to be with you"  is that what would really happen after meeting God?  The beatific vision?  A being so immense that you'd reject Him?  Hmm!   St Paul didn't when Christ spoke to him.  I suspect a person would likely want an answer, like Job, then when the answer was given, they might say, Oh now I see, I didn't understand because I didn't have the necessary facts.  They may then say "before I knew you by hear say only......"
