Mother Angelica talked one night on her show about Jesus weeping.  She said He knew, of course, that He was going to raise Lazarus from the dead.  But He cried because it was important that He show empathy to Mary and Martha.  And of course, as Fr Mike says, He suffered when He saw anyone else suffer.  All praise and glory to Our Lord Jesus Christ, who loves all of us more than we can imagine!

This is the first time I've heard Fr. Mike speak slowly enough that I understand him

This is the very reason l treasure my Catholic faith so much.  The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus started the Catholic Church.  If l were to become Baptist, Methodist, or whatever, l would be calling Him a liar.  And if He is a liar, l wouldn’t be a Christian at all- l would convert to Judaism, Buddhism, or something else.  But l could not possibly belong to another church that denies the very Truth of what Our Lord said in Matthew 16:18.
