Overtime I think we all accepted that Messi is genuinely the goat…

Mbappe is better wc player than Messi ?
naaaah, maybe a better 'wc goalscorer', definitely not a better 'player' overall.

7g 10a in 17 wc ko games
6g 12a in 19 ca ko games
2 ca pott
2 wc Pott
Multiple motm records etc
The greatest international player oat

End of an era, more than that 😭💔

Messi lost more  in the  final then ronaldo reach the final

Never forget how his own nation burnt his jersey, and he still came back when people were begging.

so good to see PedTalks! Visca Barça!

One argument I would rank Messi above Pele, is that the Brazil team had proved that they are a much more competent team compare to the Argentina. Being able to win the World cup even without Pele is actually a minus score for Pele

There are many storylines in football, the best one is  to win WC and 2 Copa's after losing 3 consecutive finals

Mbappe is better at the WC just because he scored a couple more goals??? Messi was literally doing everything -assists, creating chances, creating BIG chances, dribbling, controlling the game. He was everywhere and among the best in basically every category

When you look back at the 2022 Argentina squad, you’d say they’re pretty good. But going into that tournament, a lot of those players were nobodies. That’s what makes that WC so special.

Scaloni is a great man manager. But he wouldn't have had his success if it wasn't for Aimar, Samuel and Ayala. They get no respect

2026 is Messi's best campaign, because He could not be stopped at all.

Competed and outplayed 3 different generations farewell GOAT

Stats or awards or trophies doesn't do Messi justice. Just open your eyes and see the Messi movements, the efficiency, the vision, the dribbles, the nutmegs, the passing and you know who the true GOAT IS...

4:36 Messi had actually a goal vs Mexiko 2006 in the ro16, but the goal was wrongly disallowed

24:35 don't give this "World Cup final hat trick" He scored TWO PENALTIES as part of that hat trick
And in the last World Cup, he got the golden boot from scoring in a third place nothing game

People don’t seem to realize that Mbappe won’t be one of the best players of all time, he’ll be one of the best goal scorers of all time.

25:40 Ronaldo should be part of this conversation. World Cup winner in 2002. Finalist in 1998. Two Copa America titles in 1997 and 1999. He was incredible for Brazil and that's why Brazil won so much in that era.

Best player in Copa America 1997 and World Cup 1998.

Top goalscorer in Copa America 1999 and World Cup 2002.

Messi won so much, and in the end you could say he could've achieved so much more.
