Personally I fell what Scott's view of a retcon is is something that he can't write his way out of.  William was not mentioned as the one who was charged/arrested.  A game can come out tomorrow explaining who was arrested.

I think the retcon could be that while making fnafs 1 and 2 Scott intended that the killer used the golden freddy suit to lure the kids, it wasn't until fnaf 3 he retconned it into being the springtrap golden bonnie suit

Maybe the retcon was the Yellow Bear suit being used to lure children to the back room and then it was changed to the Yellow Rabbit suit and that’s why “It’s Me” and since Scott made that retcon, he had to Scottcon the “It’s Me” phrase?

What's kinda funny that I found recently is how Scott actually made a reddit comment before about how he isn't infallible and probably has made mistakes in the lore, and he is only human and etc etc

And someone made a big post in response which was so good and so detailed just telling Scott like.
Hey, we don't have any issues with you making mistakes with the lore or changing things or whatever, just that when there is a mistake or a major change, that you actually tell us so that we won't be confused.
And this was also at the time too where the community was debating Miketrap vs Willtrap for nearly 1 entire year, and 1 big point being the fact that Micheal sounds robotic as Springtrap appears, and at this time, like 8 months later, Scott randomly replies to a reddit post saying "Oh btw I just added that effect as I thought it was cool lol it didn't mean anything" (LOL)
and this post just directly to Scott said, Scott, why did it take you 8 MONTHS to just clarify this for the community? And just how if he actually would simply just clarify these things it would be so much better for both him and the community, as he himself said people furiously debating this made HIM unhappy too, which is like, why not just clarify it then LOL

And he fully read this post, replied to it too and said thanks for the feedback etc. And then decided to never do any of what was suggested in the post at all lol😂😂

The one Retcon was the addition of the number 14 into the numeral system. It was pretty seamless as nobody ever used that number until the Fnaf games.
