Markiplier has stated once he is afraid of mannequins, which transfers to animatronics. That's why his reaction was seemingly overreacting

this was a clickbait, I was expecting a long fnaf video, but instead I got a regular fnaf length video. long one is like idk 6 hours+

The fake springtraps only appear when there's an active ventilation error, which you're warned of on the night 1 phone call when phone dude says that the vents going off could make you see crazy things

47:15 I never interpreted it as William actually being fooled. I interpreted it as the suit being fooled, and William being a slave to its impulses.

Can't wait to randomly wake up at night with this video half way completed

the amount of times I had to audibly yell at my screen "somebody tell him!"

“She got the evil gene from her father😂 but it’s recessive so the son didn’t get it” I’m using this line bro

She Faz my Bear til I 5 nights

>fnaf fan pretends that he doesn't love fnaf for 2 hours and 3 minutes

this video was very well made and for the most part funny but as we entered the fnaf 2 stage I must admit I started feeling a bit sad. For you I mean. You really don't need to feel ashamed that you like this franchise as much as you do. It's not cringe to admit that in fact it's more cringe to hide it. You don't need to mask every compliment in a sly and sarcastic remark, in a putdown that puts you above the source material and downplays its significance. You love it. That is obvious. You don't need to pretend you don't. It's been 10 years since that first point and click game. Sure it might not hold up to immense scrutiny but legitimately who cares. It was made on a budget of 5 bucks and its awesome. The gameplay is intuitive and unique, the designs are iconic, the atmosphere is incredible. Saying "well its not as good as Silent Hill 2 because thousands people worked on that game to algorithmically make sure that it appealed to the most people possible" completely misses the point. FNAF is a series of indie games. That makes it inherently intimate, at least for the first six. It isn't made by a committee, its the vision of one man. And I think it did appeal to millions of people. In fact it might even be more successful than Silent Hill. And as you say the fact that he made 4 games in one year is an achievement, no matter how much you try to spin it into a negative. The reason FNAF is as big as it is today is because he built off the hype and momentum and released as many games as he did. If he stopped at 1 or 2 or even 3... people wouldn't still be talking about it to this day. And people are. You are. So stop pretending that you hate it or "you're too cool for it" now. Just be yourself man.

“Off brand pewdiepie” is crazyyy 💀💀💀

Damn wtf do I need to watch this 100,000 times to get this video an appropriate amount of views

"Obnoxiously long" like yesterday came out a metal gear retrospective part 1 that is 17 hours. Step it up my guy!

the only obnoxiously long fnaf videos are 1 minute youtube shorts everything longer is exactly the length it should be

this is peak slop thank you i needed this

great little retrospective here. Cool to see a more objective look at these games that isnt afraid to call them out on their flaws even if I think most of them are genuinely very fun. Always loved fnaf more for its addicting gameplay loops than anything else

to give my unimportant take on if fnaf relies on jumpscares, whenever i play fnaf games its NEVER the jumpscares that get me, it's the tension before during the nights. i played fnaf 6 recently and even on night 2 with just molten freddy i was on edge the entire time, the sound design is master class and the constant flickering of your flashlight gives you false pretences of danger, and with how drastic the game audio is with the fan on and off really sells the: *stop. i heard something*. Horror movie vibe

but then i actually get jumpscared and im just like "aw man thats annoying"
(im talking about all fnaf jumpscares not just fnaf 6 i know the jumpscares in that are shit)

so with the 'someone used one of the suits, a yellow one we had in the back' i always thought that meant they discovered it had been moved damaged in the months before (when the kids were killed) and they just hadn't gone into the backroom and seen it until that point.

“You attract what you fear”
Oh noooo another part of this in the form of a second video just as long ahhh so scary

My "theory" about the whole Bite of 83 vs 87 thing is that Scott realized halfway through making Fnaf 4 that Fredbears' closing due to an incident in the same year as a second, non-Fnaf 2 location and the Fnaf 2 location opening and having possibly another incident to get it shut down would be kinda ridiculous, especially since he already indicated Fnaf 2 was in 87 to hint that the bite happened at the Fnaf 2 location, and it just wouldn't make sense. Now, could he have very easily just made an 8-bit minigame in Fnaf 2, 3 or 4 showing the Bite of 87 at least? Yeah, sure, he could've, but he decided to not do that for reasons I will never understand.

Short ahh video
