Resetting warcraft, although needed, is pointless if blizzard doesn't clean house and put good writers and game designers in charge.

Steve denouser also thought the ending to game of thrones was perfect

When you go With Arator to Shadowlands ( Maw ) find Sylvanas , At the end of the Quest line there is a Ghost who Following  Sylvanas .
A: Another Spirit ?
S: A silent one . He follows me and than departs . Only to return Again later .
Its Nathanos

What it is missing is all the scary zones. Dark woods, Black Mountain, things use to be scary, dangerous.

It shocks me a bit that no one recognizes the Evangelion reference in the image.

I didn't consider a prequel before and that would be really good.  There's so much deep lore that's only hinted at or talked about but not shown.  The only problem would be we know where the story goes which kind of kills it a little, maybe a time travel situation where the future isn't promised?  Time travel kind of feels like a cop out though

LMAO your take on Desnoozer was perfect. I've said the EXACT SAME THING and people always reacted with a lukewarm take of "ohh well he wasn't that bad" he definitely hurt the games longevity and lore permanently because of how unusually obscure and self-inserted it felt from his perspective. Basically fanfiction WoW content.

The end of Warcraft is just Sam increasing his affix on raids and keys
*Prepare your butts for the TW bricked dungeons*

Ya that art work was sick asf the dk

Can someone please tell me what’s the music in the video at 7:00? 🥹

Assuming they could sell a WoW 2 reset kind of thing to the bean counters, and it also survived the current round of cuts, it must already be well under development starting from about the point Chris Metzen returned. The news today is that Blizzard is mostly safe, but for how long? This might also explain the lack of design thought in some of the new systems as the best and brightest were pulled to be working on next gen WoW?
What will be interesting to me is to see how they decide to monetize it should it survive. Will they do a paid beta, limited release like Windrose, PoE2, etc etc or will they just try to go full blast? If there's a prequel will that suffice to prove it's value? Personally, I'd love the idea and I do think there's a market that will draw even many Classic players back into Retail depending on how well thought out the systems are. I'd buy it.

Id love to see more Warcraft movies, the 1st one wasnt that bad.

About the Warcraft movie you said 'They tried to tell too much in a single movie' but then you give the example of the story of Arthas. To properly setup and execute the story of the Lich King you need at least 4 movies/ seasons. The invasion of the orcs is shorter and a good setup to start with. Shame they completely skipped the story about Ner'zhul who later becomes the Lich King and focused only on Gul'dan. But all of that can be shown in retrospect and origin stories.

6:50 Yes, it's been this way since post legion, though you can argue Dragonflight.

Marvel has also introduced thew sliding time scale to explain a lot of the incongruity

I haven't played since 2013, but I'm interested to see where it's headed. I love the lore from the old days.

Umm.. are you saying that image is quintessential death knight art, or that the risen human locks of wc2 are the quintessential death knights?? 🤔

Whats a sundering?

Metzen has been back for a while and how's the Midnight story?
