Also the culling of the Red Dragons was awesome and if you killed them all the lich king would say your empty like me or something like that. It was pretty cool.

Wow that’s crazy I actually just did this quest line for the sword tmog and after was like huh that’s probably the coolest quest story I’ve ever done

100% agreed amazing questline. Quest like these are missing from WoW today.

The DK Legion quest was by far the best story telling and actually made you understand what a Death Knight mean

The reason the ebonblade had to be impactful for the story is that Death Knights literally had the power to rival Dreadlords, their runic power of the shadowlands gave them the power to counter the overwhelming power of Fel magic and they could turn their enemies necromantic powers back on them. They were more impactful than even the demon hunters on the front lines of battle, and also from a player perspective it sort of matched with the theme of Arthas vs illidan. Death Knight players were the only class that held a solid edge against demon hunter players in pvp because we could mitigate their abilities and also stun, silence, deathgrip, and snare.

Thrall's Balls!

The 'Shady Rest Inn' questline from Kalimdor will always be my favorite. It's one of the first quest chains I ever did that really affected me emotionally, not sure if it's even available anymore.

We as players had G-Grasp before even Nazgrim was dead, in MoP. Just letting you know.
It was available to all 3 specs and it was way OP with lower CD.
Then they made it Blood-specific in WoD.

22:38 sounded like trey Parker. Lmfaooo

its honestly one of the things that has really annoyed me with recent WoW expansions is that they clarified anything that was ambiguous  and made things that didn't need to be questioned  suddenly went up in the air.
Lich King Bolvar was such a cool concept because you really had the question of how much of him is still in there or is it the crown/Ner'zhul doing in the shadows schemes? it it genuine protection or more the case of self preservation to survive long enough for a scourge invasion 3? and then they took that and then threw it out the window cus Lol No Bolvar is just a sad man whoes sad cus he got poisoned and then burned to death with red dragon fire.

I say this alot but the Centaur in Dragonflight literally encapsulate everything wrong with WoW. they went from being vicious Bastards in every meaning of the word to actually no these ones are a nice matriarchal clan that has been living in peace wif nature. and the whole thing of being born of an unholy union between a wildgod and an elemental lord is just a rumour...when Maraudon still exists, I've run Maraudon, I met the rock F*ker myself, I killed the rock he F*ked. you cant tell me its a rumour when the information comes literally from the half-deer-elf things mouth.

the DF centaur are literally Highmountain Tauren 2.0 complete with even outright yoinking their patron wild god Onh'ara.

the Blizz team really likes to use the Unreliable Narrator as a crutch and its gotten to the point that Im just like yeah No I dont belive you, you're an idiot when it comes to them doing stuff with lore.

imagine if the 4th horseman was uther lightbringer instead!!

Deathlord is the only title I use on my dk

So Deathbringer Saurfang, who deathgripped the NPCs that charged at him in ICC, doesn't count?

I agree jailer  should have helped but u m ow it was the start of full on rainbow wow :/

Nah, Crusader Bridenbrad was the best.  You spend 90% of the quest trying and failing to save his life, not even Alexstraza's flames could heal him, but a Naruu comes, taking his spirit peacefully into the light.

[scepter of the shifting sands] ? 😂

That quest line was AMAZING.

Underwater breathing ring.. a main hand epic?

The best questline in wow was the Redpath/Darrowshire/Pamela questline. The edgelord stuff doesn't hit the same.

Fire Holly Longdale. That's the bestest quest.

Meh. 1:16.  Class specific quests?

Samiccus, I know you'll cry about being called sexist, but the whole "ew sylvanas should've lost, cause Bolvar losing is ruining such a big lore character", but somehow Sylvanas, the main antagonist, losing to average AF Bolvar who's never been in a fight since he got roasted as a dragon, is supposed to dominate Sylvanas, who has almost killed Arthas before? How is that not ruining Sylvanas? Oh right, cause she's a woman, so she is supposed to lose. Lol.
Don't get me wrong, Sylvanas becoming warchief was so cringe and stupid to begin with, that her entire story in BFA and Shadowlands is among the worst warcraft has ever written, but let's not pretend that Bolvar deserved more aura than her, especially with the fanbase back then. It literally just is "I don't like modern writing Sylvanas, and she's a woman, so she should've lost". If you ask me, the fight should've been close at best, but making it so that sylvanas is saved at last minute by the jailer is genuinely the worst idea I've ever heard you utter, ever. That's garbage writing, and we'd ALL hate it.
