Swifty really is that guy. Dude is the absolute OG of WoW Content Creators.

One of the few content creators who actually deserve more is Swifty.

The man, the myth, the legend.

Thank you so much, Savix; I never got to hear Swifty like this. Swifty was my hero in my mid-teens. His positivity, healthcare, and innovation/forward-thinking helped a lot during tumultuous times.

What I really liked a lot about Swifty was his reaction to success. As soon as money started coming in, his instinct was to get other people on board, give them pay raises, and include them in what he’s doing.

That’s a real leader. Completely irrespective of him as a streamer and content creator, he builds up his team. That’s just a healthy ego and personality in an industry that is rife with toxicity and selfishness.

It’s also not as easy to do all that in an emerging industry. People are putting their necks on the line with stuff like this.

Swifty’s a real dude.

The cataclysm 1v1 how to duel vs x videos were soooo good. It was a mixture of some fun IRL thing like paintballing or surfing while also explaining how beat a certain class. I would look forward to those videos every week! You da man Swifty <3

I think it’s amazing that Swifty has been making content for so long. I started watching him when I was still in high school, and now I’m in my 30s and still watching. I grew up looking up to him, and even after all these years, he’s still someone I consider a role model. It’s kind of crazy to realize he’s been a positive part of my life for that long.

Swifty is the reason I didn’t kill myself as a teenager. I use to dream I met him IRL. I was so inspired to play warrior PvP.

I literally learned English because of Swifty's videos. I live in Spain but I'm originally from Bulgaria, and I was always TERRIBLE at English growing up. Anyway, when I was still in highschool, back in like 2010-2011 I started watching Swifty's videos. He did Spanish subtitles on some of them, and also had some videos completely in Spanish (specially some IRL ones 😊). I slowly started to understand stuff without needing the subtitles anymore, and that's what launched me into consuming more and more content in English, getting to a pretty high level. Swifty did what years and years of school never could! 😂🎉

Swifty is an absolute legend. It was my dream as a teen to go to his gaming house

@Thor_Q 11 hours ago

Swifty was the most iconic and memorable player for me from original WoW. I remember when we 1st watched his Warrior Tricks video at a LAN cafe and we couldn’t stop talking about it. Thanks for this Savix ❤

Swifty the GOAT WoW creator. Pat made me go for High Warlord (that 17-18h a day grind for 3months straight was a doozy with a premade), then Swifty showed me the way of the Fury Warrior and I only went back for raid purposes when a tier needed it (this came way later in Legion).

Thanks for the great podcast guys! <3

All these years and Blizzard has never even named an NPC after Swifty. That man deserves a statue (irl or ingame) for how much he has promoted WoW and contributed to the game in so many aspects. All the while never being trashy, disrespectful, edgy or anything - all good vibes, all the time.
One of the OGs and probably one of the few (only one?) that STILL plays the game. Respect. Thank you for everything that you have done my man. You are a legend.
