Dropping this while the Lions are getting belted is absolute HEAT

Dropping this in the hour break between the afternoon games and SNF is TOP TIER, man.

This is so much more satisfying to watch than "sports analysts" on the big sports networks. You break down this stuff much more concisely and I am so thankful to get to learn more about how the game actually works. Especially around my home state vikes. Thank you Mr. Kollmann.

todays game only makes us realize even more how important Ben Johnson's playcalling was for the Lions success

9:56. Yes I am still watching. No I do not know what a “fire zone” “2 deep” or “4 deep” are. But I do thank you for trying.

19:21 Brett, no credible Vikings fan thinks any game is in the bag, much less a SOLDIER FIELD game 😂

Imagine Brian Urlacher in Brian Flores system.

This is why the Vikings brought in Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave. The Vikings want to be able to play more 4 man rush to take some pressure off of the linebackers to take away the dink and dunk plays. Thats not to say the Vikings wont blitz heavily but with the addition of inside pass rushers will allow more depth to what Flores can call.

Me as a Vikings fan hearing Brett saying that Vikings fans think this one is "in the bag"... You underestimate the Vikings fans self defense mechanism. Always expect the worst... Lol

I think Johnsons lease on Flores' head expired a few weeks ago.  3 points is brutal in a league designed for high scores.

Being called a degenerate by Kollmann is like being knighted by Queen Elizabeth herself

Each year, Flores has really changed up his defensive plan. I'm sure this year will be no different. The Vikings now have DBs that are younger, faster, and more athletic than the guys last year which allows him to do some different things like actually play man coverage behind the blitzes. The interior pass rush has also been upgraded meaning Flores may not feel the need to blitz as much.

I think the fact that this is the first game of the season and Johnson doesn't have tape on this defense is a big advantage that Johnson doesn't have this time. Of course the same goes for Flores' ability to scheme against the Bears.

Tomorrow night will be a fascinating match-up for sure.

And just last week, Vikings held the bears to 3 points with 2 turnovers within 10yds of the end zone. SKOL

Checking in.

Gotta do MacDonald vs. McVay before the Christmas day rematch!

The Minnesota Vikings’ defensive concept reminds me a lot of what teams like FC Barcelona do in soccer. It’s the same mindset: aggressive pressure up front — like a blitz — combined with disciplined coverage behind. They’re willing to allow short gains, but the secondary locks things down around the first-down line, just like a high defensive line controls space and limits dangerous runs in behind.

This is the kind of content that the NFL should have highlighted during the Chiefs Chargers YouTube game. Forget Mr. Beast's audience, they turned it off about 2.3 seconds after he was no longer on the screen. If the NFL wants to dominate YouTube, they should have highlighted the numerous incredible creators here and empowered them to become even bigger, even better. That would have longevity.

Really Brett there’s games going on RN

BFlo did it again. Pitched a shutout in the 2nd half to give JJ the opportunity to lead a comeback. What a time to be a Vikings fan. Most complete team in Minnesota since 2017 if not 2009.
