Our first proper morning in England starts in the beautiful little village of Eynsham on the edge of the Cotswolds — but after getting some very conflicting advice from the locals, we have a decision to make…
Someone in the local pub told us Wetherspoons was the best-value breakfast around. Everyone else in the pub warned us that cheap definitely didn't mean good and told us NOT to eat there as the food is so bad! 🇬🇧
There was only one way to find out.
We head to the nearest Wetherspoons to try a traditional Full English breakfast for ourselves and see whether it's genuinely awful and whether we should have listened to the warnings.
And somehow our cheap breakfast takes a rather unexpected turn! 😂
Before that, we explore a little of Eynsham, show you the pub accommodation where we spent our first night, and revisit what we genuinely think was one of the best Indian meals we've ever had.
Then it's time to pack up the car and continue our UK road trip north into Shropshire, where we arrive at a little countryside cottage near Ludlow that will be home for the next five nights.

my wife and I visit one several times a month, you get what you pay for.
It's not a rip off like most places.
The quality is not top class but you are only paying a budget price, so I like it.
