Hey George, I would love to find one of those Stevens 9478 in 20gauge. Haven't been able to find one in my neck of the woods, you seem to come across one or two quite regularly. Maybe I need to take a trip to Kentucky? Anyway, love your content and be blessed.
My mother bought me a 94 Stevens 20ga single in 1980 when I was 14 for Christmas . She took me hunting with it for the first time we got noghthing and she asked me if I wanted to shot it I said yes and she was about to show me how to hold it bout I was 14 and new it all . She smiled and said go a head and laughed after I pulled the trigger .( got me in the check bone ) I learn to listen after that . Mom is gone now but I still have that old gun > She was the best .
I GOT THE 9478 IN 20 GAGE IF YOU CAN find the chocks for this gun like i got for mine it tightens up the shot group for longer ranges for shooting squrrel and bird its a great gun and the after market for parts o this gun is great my granfather bought it back in 1985 and its still hitting squrrels and cleaning out my ground hawg infestaion in my yard with rabbit and turkeys as well as deer during muzzel loader season with out the choke its running on full choke so long rang acrrucy will be bad i think the savage model 301 choke will work on this one i have a 4 year old stevens 20 gage choke on mine from there 301
Very nice gun sir maybe it is a right hand gun and your shooting left. Hand Hannah thanks for sharing sir you and the family have a merry Christmas and a great New year
So when you say it is a "monoframe", does that mean that the 12, 20, 16, and .410 barrels will all work on the same receiver frame? I know the forearms would be different with the different barrel tapers, but can I make my 12 gauge work with a different barrel and forearm? Nice little video BTW, good job.
