The first mud hole you get stuck in, the bike feels like you're wrestling a pig. By mid day it feels like a water buffalo. By the end of the day, a hippo.

At 56 years old, my eyesight isn't what it used to be either. Anyone in the same boat as Adam when he said he couldn't read the smaller GPS should look into the safety/mechanics glasses that have a bi-focal type reader lens down low. Clear unaltered vision for looking at the track, but when you look down at your dash the reader glasses type lens is there to make everything clear. They fit inside your goggles too. The best part.....they run less than $10 US.

If I remember correctly, the original rally tower was carbon fiber, which given all that bouncing around was not the best material choice. Hopefully the aluminum one gave you no trouble in the next stage.

I’m a huge fan. I’m a Spanish rider living in Perth, and I started my off‑road adventures as soon as I landed in WA a year ago. Finding your content made a massive difference—your riding and the way you communicate the feeling of being out there really comes through the screen.

As you can see from this challenge, Spanish riders are tough! I’d be stoked to swap some Spanish lessons for a few rides around our state—fair warning: the first phrase you’ll master is “¿Dónde está la cerveza?”.
