Chris Peach, AKA Peachy, is one of the most recognisable faces in Warhammer - a seasoned army painter, Warhammer TV presenter, and all round lovely bloke!

We talk about Peachy’s career at Games Workshop - getting started in retail and building a community; how the business culture changed over time; becoming the first army painter at the studio and transitioning to the Warhammer TV team; and all of that before breaking out on his own and becoming a YouTube sensation!

For me, this man represents the very soul of wargaming and minature painting. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious. I doubt I would have been half the painter I am without following his videos. I'm glad he is still sharing his knowledge and skills, even after leaving Workshop. Thank you Jordan, for this interview. It was a great watch.

A lot of the guests on the podcast have been from the 80s and 90 so it’s nice to hear Peachy’s perspective on the next era in the timeline. He gives a really good sense of how GW ticks - both what makes it special and what holds it back, which is usually just “real business/management” stuff which seems to be a symptom of the company growing so much in that time.

Peachy is a gem! very genuine person and the world is a better place for beign here. Even if he claims to be not the best painter you should always remember hes still been painting by definition for over 20 years now, and the stuff you pick up from just watching the hand movements alone is imensly useful to me at least as visual seeing what you should roughly be doing with your own hands is a huge help. Thanks for another interview Jordan, even if I've heard most of this before its good to have the story all in one concise place.

Fantastic interview as always, I love how you give your guests plenty of time to speak and think.

I've heard Peachy's history several times now but I don't think I'd appreciated until this interview that he was the entirety of and the beginning of the army painting team!

As one of the aforementioned patreons, I really enjoy Peachy content. It doesn't feel enslaved to the dreaded algorithm. And the discord is a very friendly fun place as well.
