Check Out Herbies Videos https://www.youtube.com/@herbie.e
Doing anything with Herbie brings out my silly and goofy side, so this video is a lot less serious than previous ones. But I think that's what we all need right now...

(Edit) made a playlist of all the we’ve made. And it’s your homework to watch all of them.

Considering the absolute state of the world, working from bed is definitely a mood.

"We can only publish your book if you transition" made me spit out my coffee

18:40 fun fact, her dad (who was a very wealthy and senior engineer) offered to house her for free in his mansion, but she turned it down because she didn't like his new wife.

Her sister's husband owned the coffee shop she wrote in and they also offered to house her.

The "rags to riches" story has been massively exaggerated as part of Joanne's brand. I'm not saying she hasn't had struggles in her life, she definitely has... But she has had massive privileges too, and her failure to acknowledge and appreciate those privileges is somewhat telling.

when you said "we're only fifteen minutes in" i screamed, this movie is unwatchable on every level thanks for taking this bullet

"You're such a weasley guy" WHAT.

EDIT: The talk of Edinburgh being ruined by HP fans reminds me of when JK accused some trans folk of doxxing her address when HP FANS GO THERE ON TOURS

@heptonaut 1 year ago

no fucking way is there a cemetery crawling with harry potter fans gawking at gravestones because they have names from the book on them, edinburgh i'm so sorry

It's a shame Edinburgh is now associated with Rowling. Unironically it was probably better off being associated with Trainspotting

oh my God I laughed so hard when you said JK Rowling would see "a women's bathroom" in the mirror of erised, like actual tears. impeccably timed.

I watched this film one time when it came out and the line “You’re such a Weasley guy” has genuinely haunted me ever since. I’ll be going about my day and sometimes it’ll just pop into my head completely unprompted. It’s a curse.

"Mummy, sometimes I feel like a prisoner. Like some sort of prisoner... in Azkaban."
"I need some order in my life, some order of the phoenix."
"I need to philosophize like a stone."

Those shoe-horned title drops had me giggling so hard. Step aside, "What are we? Some kind of Suicide Squad?" you've been replaced by Joseph and Herbie. 😆🧙‍♀

As someone from Edinburgh, thank you, Harry Potter gentrified this city beyond recognition, it's horrible.

@FlikFlaxx 1 year ago

the ameri-british accent she has is killing me lmao

@EleanorMortonable 1 year ago

Deeply appreciate the acknowledgment that she's ruined Edinburgh. We are so much more than Harry Potter! <3

"you're such a weaselly guy" I think I got whiplash from that. How is that not parody. 5D chess level writing not in the good way

I love how everyone is styled so early-mid 2000s even for the childhood scenes

28:04 Herby was very close to hitting on the sequel title. Should be "Rowling Downhill".

I always thought there would be a day where I’d be watching an JK Rowling biopic at a slumber party.

I have never laughed so much.
some would say it’s been quite… magical
