Well, I'm not sure what I expected this movie to be but I certainly didn't expect even half of what it actually was! Might be one of the craziest things I've ever watched. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe during the panda part! Starring and directed by Ben Stiller, with Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey, Nick Nolte, and an insane performance from Tom Cruise. I still don't think I fully understand what it is I just saw!

No you're not going crazy - this was originally posted back in the spring! Unfortunately it was recently copyright claimed and blocked, so I've tried to trim a little and get it back up. This was one of my most popular reactions so I really didn't want to let it go! If you've already seen it, maybe just give it a quick like/view again if you don't mind?! Thanks so much all!

Robert Downey Jr did indeed stay in character all the way through the DVD commentary for this movie. It’s great

“What do you mean ‘you people’?” is maybe my favorite joke

A young lady like yourself recognizing Nick Nolte. Bravo 👏

Tom Cruise has said many times how much loved playing this character and how he's tried to find another way to play Les again

Not only did they play all those trailers at the start of the movie in theaters, they made it mesh seamlessly with the actual trailers from that time, it was absolutely perfect😂

26:40 I love that RDJ threw in an Australian "Chroist, man!" like the conversation was so annoying it made him break character!

She got all the references.
She's a keeper.

Downey actually did commentary in character.

Tom Cruise was completely responsible for creating his character. His look, his clothes and his dance moves. Pretty damn funny. 😎

I"m a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude.

This is one of the all time comedy classics, like Mel Brooks movies or Airplane.
Probably still going to be popular in 50 years.

Tom Cruise's character was his idea.

McConaughey got there in his new G5!

"I wanted something light and funny" and all I can think of "Where ever he is? I think he is all over the place"

Fun fact: not the first time RDJ and Toby have played lovers. See also: Wonder Boys. Also, the original Ant-Man is their mentor. It's retroactively an MCU extravaganza.

I had the pleasure of seeing this when it originally came out and don't recall the last time I was that delighted with a comedy in the movie theater. All the fake trailers were there and I was completely on-board as soon as I saw the words "Alpa Chino". People were already cackling maniacally by the time Satan's Alley came along.
