You're gonna have to make at least two videos, Highguard just came out💀

Dinos? Dropping ammo? SO MUCH FOR CINEMATIC IMMERSION

8:34
ah yes,the default unreal engine pistol sound.

First!

Edit: I thought the price was the equivalent of a straight to DVD clearance bin 99%off type shit, nowhere close to $50 for that pos.!

How or why would dinosaurs have ammunition on them? That makes sense in no universe

I always love your video Can you please do the overlord serious next the games not the anime

Dino crisis at home anyone?

I will say one thing - them being indie does not excuse the uninspired choices (and in particular, their obsession with surface-level sheen of prestige).
If you played Signalis (likewise, indie - same genre), you will remember how much a good spawn animation adds to the experience.

There are so many little things that matter, and those things take less effort to implement than the things they went for instead. "Sexy outfits" shouldn't have been the focus of development!

This game made me, a Dino Crisis fan so mad. Got my hopes up only to deny me of a PC port. And then it turns out to be such a disaster. Capcom, please, do something with Dino Crisis already. Meanwhile, I can't wait to play RE9 XD

Also, just FYI, you can get the shotgun early in the game in the security room. If you go in the security room, there's this small security area with computers. In there, there's a mesh cabinet with a lock on it. The key is all the way in the back and the key is in one of the rooms with corpses in it. Just letting you know, but I'm assuming you won't be playing CV again.

Upnext : VioletGuard!

I saw somewhere they already greenlit a sequel to this game . The world is a mysterious place

2026 is on a roll. first COde Violet then Highguard.
Also, Code Violet's story reminds me of Carnosaur, a horrible B-movie from 1993.

21:00 This is the only part of the game I am willing to ask you to cut the devs some slack.

After all, games like HK and Silksong also have long and tedious runbacks to bosses.
(Yes, the platforming can be improved and shortcuts can be found for certain areas, but that doesn't mean we must always go through that thing for already tough bosses and gauntlets. It ends up feeling like an unskippable cutscene personally that gets in the way of a great experience)

other than this one thing, I agree with you on everything else, this game just ain't it.

Well if you want an indie game to recover from this shi,I belive i have a pretty good recommendation, mio memories in orbit, the game looks fantastic from an artstyle standpoint and one of the more unique visual styles i've seen, its like a sketch come to life, gotta give it more time to form an opinion myself on how it plays but i think i like it, if anything this game(and constance)prove to me that silksong has put 2d metroidveinias back on the mainstream or atleast getting there, its the first game of the year i've played and it seems to be a good one to start of with beafore getting to the big games, not the next e33 but still a great one(so far atleast) and I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Hahaha I’m so happy you made a video on this. Looks like shit 😂

Ex Voto isn't out yet.

Heres an acually good indie game its called trunip boy robs a bank and its roguelite

The thing is, the game is part of Teamkill Media Game Quadrilogy, including this game and they are all linked. Let me explain (Spoiler).

Son and Bone: You mentioned about wanting to know Violet's past. This game has it. Violet Sinclair was in this game as an NPC. The game takes place in a time of cowboys. You play Sheriff Sam Judge who is hunting down a man name Tice, who kidnapped Violet. But then, Tice, Violet and Sam were teleported to another planet where dinosaurs and dino hybrids exist. At the end of the game, Tice threw Violet in a portal which is where the you start in CV. In CV, Aion, the bio-engineering company, created dinosaurs and dino hybrids and brought them to fight Sam in the game.

Quantum Error: Near and at the end of the CV game, it is mentioned that the villain of CV, Conners, worked for Monad, a tech company that specializes in Quantum Technology (At least that's what I'm assuming. It was a hard to follow story). who were in Quantum Error. Also, Conners mentioned a friend named Clipper, who was in Quantum Error.

Kings of Lorn: If you finished CV, it is mentioned that Violet has links to the main playable character, Farren, the King of Ebris, which is link to her purple power abilities. In CV, you see an object in Violet's vision near the end of the game called the Omniheart, which was Farren's sister's heart.

Do you need to play these games to understand Code Violet? Not really. And believe me, even if you saw these video games on a walkthrough, it will take a lot out of you. I just thought I'd give you some facts.

LordFrogmire begs to differ. LordFrogmire says Highguard is the WORST GAME OF THE DECADE! Worse than Gollum. Worse than Redfall. Worse than Skull Island: Rise of Kong! Worse than Code Violet.
