Who's the worst right now? Playstation, Xbox, or Nintendo? Go.

lets be real, because of bluepoint being shut down, more people will NOT going to play those multiplayer games even more. its already happening

7:42 "Literally no one else is!"  Luke is a goddamn savage in that video, I'm glad Zitiboi recognizes a kindred spirit there.

Incredibly sad; I'll always know them for Demon's Souls remake as I got my PS5 just for DS & Bloodborne.

To be fair, those golden parachutes do help immensely with execs making stupid decisions which others will bear the brunt for.

It's disappointing but I suspect that the folks at Bluepoint faced a somewhat significant amount of talent drain when Jim Ryan green lit the live service GoW game. People left the studio and the few that stayed behind wasn't enough to feasibly work on new projects without the time and investment in hiring new devs. It's not making any excuses, obviously Ryan is the main person to blame, but I hope that Sony can absorb the remaining devs with other studios in a Japan Studios/Team Asobi situation.

What an odd choice. Sony really likes to waste money this generation.

I heard somewhere that Sony was taking bluepoint devs and hiring them into Santa Monica studios after closing bluepoint. But I haven't looked into it to verify it yet. All Sony had to do was have Bluepoint work on remaking Bloodborne for pc and ps and they could've literally printed money 🤷

The Sony gods demand sacrifice for more life service slop and Ubisoft style open world games.

I'm completely finished with PlayStation anyway. They haven't been relevant since the PS2 days. This was their peak and it's just been progressively getting worse and worse with every new generation since. RIP

How badly has XBox f'd up this generation that PlayStation can make one disastrous decision after another after another and still "win" this round?  The whole era has pretty much been a colossal case of "What could have been."

But hey, the PS6 will be a couple years away along with 4-5 more Live Service Slop projects and even more The Last Horizon of Us remasters!

At this point, Saber Interactive and other indie devs should just remain independent, and stay the $$@$$ away from Sony and XBox

Oof. The last part of the video regarding Bloodborne hasn't aged very well.

Nintendo is greedy
Xbox is dead
Playstation push into live service fucked them really hard
Building a PC is extremely expensive cause of AI

Modern gaming everybody :^)

The fact that the horizon devs had to straight up say “don’t worry we’re still gunna make horizon 3” says it all

Why do people think bluepoint existing will evetually lead to Bloodborne remake again?
Iirc Sony is happy to have a remake as long as its from Fromsoft (I think cuz of the initial backlash against DeS remake). Miyazaki just said he didnt have time to devote to a remake.
Pretty sure I heard that somewhere.
Is it just cope? Like the minimal hope of a Bloodborne remaster by BP being gone now?

Amazing points! Pc gaming is truly the only way forward

Just make a Killzone multi-player game and if fails fire your self.

What a trip it's been to see people celebrating this on Twitter. It's kinda wild how hard people have gotten with BP over Demon's Souls remake. I don't really care for BP/Sony much, I care about Fromsoft, really, and them being fine makes me shrug at the BP situation.

What if Bluepoint was Bluepoint in name only and all the talent has left during the years? And what if Sony saw internally what their output was and decided it was not worth it?
