That run by Robert Patrick after the young Jon Connor was real not sped up on the first take he caught him, I thought you'd be shocked at the switch on Arnold being the good guy.

@byron2521 1 month ago

I remember when this came out. Linda Hamilton trained and worked out an transformed her body for this sequel. She was reported as saying she couldn't wait for Arnold to see her transformation.

He ain’t spinning😂 he’s reloading that shot gun

Arnie carrying a gun & roses. John and his buddy listening to "Guns and Roses" at his foster parents house! Coincidence?

One of the greatest movies ever of all time. So flipping good

Because of this movie, the new Harley Davidson model "Fat Boy" became one of the most sold, out of all the models.

There are two sets of twins in this movie. The hospital security guards at twin brothers. And Linda Hamilton's twin sister appears in this movie

15:18 That isn’t a special effect, that’s actually just Robert Patrick running. He trained so hard before filming, that for the first take he actually caught up to the bike. They had to tell him to slow down.

55:55 The pilot seeing his reflection in the T-1000 is a real-life helicopter pilot named Charles "Chuck" Tamburro. He and his brothers had a helicopter charter company and did a lot of flying for movies and TV shows, and I mean A LOT. He was the guy flying the chopper beneath the bridge here (filmed by James Cameron himself. Stories vary: Either no one else wanted to do it, or insurance wouldn't cover them, or both. He flew underneath at least two times: one seen from the back, one from the front). His brother Michael was flying the chopper a bit later in the movie when he nearly hits a foot bridge and pulls up just in time (sadly, Michael died in a chopper accident a few years later as a non-piloting passenger filming a commercial). They did work on a ton of stuff: The original "A-Team" TV show, Airwolf, First Blood (the first Rambo), Commando, Predator, Die Hard, True Lies, The Rock andandand. He's a living legend.

Terminator 2 is considered the best sequel ever!

Till this day scientists have said that Sarah Connor’s dream of a nuclear explosion is the most accurate portrayal of a nuclear bomb going off.

This film is a Legend when the Terminator says I know now why you cry.....

@ericschmack2522 1 month ago (edited)

For the time travel aspect of the Terminator, it's a theoretical concept called predestination paradox or a causality loop. By attempting to prevent John Conner from being born, Skynet through actions, creates the situation for both John Conner to come into existence and for itself to be created from the wreckage of The Terminator found in 1984.

@ZiricoteWanKenobiGraham 1 month ago

This is by far the greatest sequel ever made. It's about as perfect as a movie gets. And people today have no clue just how cutting edge the special effects were at that time! Seeing it on the big screen in a great theater on opening day was an experience I won't forget. 😊

1:07:55 There's a nice touch here: Sarah loses one shotgun shell, and is then one shell short of finishing the T-1000. The Terminator loses one grenade in the bed of the pick-up, but stops and picks it up, and this is the one that finishes the T-1000.

@MartinBeerbom 1 month ago

18:25 The shotgun needed to get an enlarged cocking lever loop to do the flip around cocking. They had normal ones, and a couple with enlarged levers on set. One time, Arnold picked up a normal one, tried to flip-cock, and nearly broke his wrist.

When Arnold the Terminator picks up the mini gun and cracks a smile, he's imitating John's smile.

Most of "Terminator" and Terminator 2: Judgement Day", was filmed in my neighborhood. When the truck jumps into the wash, that was around the corner from my house. The mall, The former Sherman Oaks Galleria, was also used in "Commando" ( 1985), "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (1982), "Valley Girl" (1983)

John Connor's foster mom, was Vasquez in Aliens

According to James Cameron on the DVD commentary, Linda Hamilton blasted the orderly in the face for realsies with the broom stick and used the shot. And it wasn’t for the face lick scene, it was for the deleted scene where they forced her to take her meds and the Reece scene. He halfassed the stomach shot when she collapsed and had to reshoot it multiple times and Linda got bruised up.
