Anyone who told you to pass on the second one should be......well, terminated. Terminator 2: Judgement Day is almost universally recognized as one of the most worthy of sequels ever.

@havok6280 1 month ago

It's always funny when people are surprised when the Terminator starts terminating people...😂

Whoever said that the second one isn't worth watching, is insane. Most people who love this franchise love the second film more than the first, without disrespecting the first Terminator film.

the fact that the first movie was HORROR

nobody since the invention of the internet would tell you to not watch Terminator 2. not even trolls would say that. must have been Skynet AI.

My favorite bit of comedy is in the apartment as the landlord asks about the odor coming from the room. The Terminator cycles through possible responses and comes up with "F*ck you, asshole" , which is a nod to the scene where The Terminator first arrives and encounters/slaughters that gang of thugs led by Bill Paxton

42 years later still iconic

It's pure MADNESS for anyone to say not to watch T2! That's the craziest thing I've heard in a while now. That's like saying to pass on The Empire Strikes Back, The Godfather Part 2, or Aliens. Outrageousness!!

36:00 - Engine's fine. They're out of gas.

"What are you doing?" "Nothin' just Terminatin' "

@robertjonsson797 3 weeks ago

No one has ever said that you shouldnt watch Terminator 2: it can only be Skynets Bots.

It wasn't the loss of human flesh that slowed the bare metal Terminator. It suffered some damage when run over by the tractor-trailer rig, and maybe from the motorcycle crash that preceded it.

Terminator 2 is outstanding

These flashbacks (flashforwards to Reese's time) are not happening in the exact spot Reese is at. It's just his memories and experiences.

I do like how the photo is used. The Terminator has to use the phone listing to track down each Sarah Connor one by one. But Kyle just has to watch her apartment to find her. John Connor probably told Kyle what the correct address was, and Kyle also memorized her image from her photograph.

Fun fact....
Arnold argued with James Cameron that his line should bbe "i will be back." Because it sounds more robotic than "I'll be back."
Arnold figured it to be a throwaway line anyways.
James basically said "which of us is the writer here?"
And the line "I'll be back" became iconic.
Arnold told this in a talk show interview (i forget now which host).

I'm so happy you are getting in to some more iconic movies with som lighter fair in between. This movie had a very low budget and was so successful that Terminator two was just as good with better effects and a larger story line. I had so much fun watching your reaction to this gem. Thanks ❤
