I have been a HUGE James Bond fan since I was 7 years old. The first Bond film I saw was 1995's Goldeneye. (Which will always have a special place in my heart) As a kid & now as an adult, I always wish I could be James Bond. I am very passionate about the James Bond films. Long live James Bond!!!
I saw my first Bond movie when I was 4 years old. I didn't like the mushy kissing stuff but I loved the action and I got a toy suitcase version complete with rubber knife and exploding caps from the movie for Christmas. I've seen every Bond movie since. I even stood up a date to go see Live and Let Die. It was worth it.
Of course it would have been memorable if all of the Bond actors, Connery, Moore, Lazenby, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig had appeared at a symposium to discuss the impact of the films on popular culture. Connery may be understandably upset that he didn't derive more revenue from the Bond merchandising, re-releases, etc. however, he was made an international star and had opportunities made possible from his involvemen in Bond films.
