Here because of your T-shirt! Listening to your music: it's beautiful, just like your heart ❤

John Mayer said something like Jason Isbell lives where other writers only visit.

Jason Isbell gets all the respect for his songwriting but I think he is an incredibly underrated singer and guitar player.

Thanks!!! I just subbed!

i just know zach was absolutely in love with this whole thing. getting to drive your bronco while a guy you looked up to plays in the back. so happy for you zach
!

I’ve rearranged my day and broken off friendships to accommodate this surprise

No way, what a joy of a surprise this is. I mean introducing me to one of my favorite new bands The Bends was good enough. But this wow! Isbell is one of the greats, also 10+ years sober. I wonder if they connected over that in any way 🙏🏼👏🏼🔥

Some folks are trying to steal our souls. Hopefully, God remembers there are things buried so deep in the dark that even the devil walks past them without knowing their name. Country music like this keeps me holding on to hope.
Greetings from France 🇨🇵✝️🙏🏻

Here because of the tshirt. Subscribed and now off to buy your songs

Words can't describe what Isbell means to me. I had the privilege of running into him on the street in NYC once and telling him myself. I still got his guitar pick. Thanks Jason.

Cool, here because I hear you're a true country artist

The part where Zach was talking about listening to the song after his mom died, and then Jason talking about Windfall by Son Volt really got to me. I took my dad to see Son Volt right after Trace came out, and after my dad passed away last year I heard Windfall on the radio and just broke down.

I am so glad Zach and Jason made this.

Making sure the entire island of guam gets to listen to this with me tonight

How good is Jason Isbell though, an all time great.

His songwriting is usually highlighted, but his voice isn't praised enough, he doesn't miss a note, smooth a honey

Been waiting for this collaboration my whole life

This guy is talented!

I respect the effort Isbell puts into producing his records, but his raw stuff cannot be beat.

Around 15 years ago while I was in high school, my English teacher handed me a burned cd and told me that she didn’t care if I listened to the first song and threw it away, but just to listen because it reminded her of me. It was the something more than free album and that was one of the greatest gifts I ever received. I listened to that album over and over again, which then led to southeastern, and the rest was history.  Through the death of my father, my military career, a failed engagement to them meeting my wife, and having my daughter, that man has gotten me through every single event of my life since that burned cd was placed in my hand. I love that man.

I did not expect Speed Trap Town. I might cry

This beats bro country every day.
