The difference is bigger than I expect. Now I'm tempted to try them in the real life!

I picked up a Beosound Level last week, and I absolutely love it. The sound is so rich and well-balanced. The mids aren’t quite as transparent as the Beosound 2, but it’s still an amazing speaker. This video convinced me—I definitely need a second Level for stereo.

Would love a similar in depth video on the balance and the 8. Keep up the great work.

Can you compare the Level to the A5? Would love it with a mic test as well. People always say the level is more “sparkly”

Great and very useful video! I spent so much time searching for info on A5 stereo pairs a few months ago but found next to nothing. I ended up buying them anyway last month, but I would've pulled the trigger much sooner if I'd seen this video back then!

Excellent video. I have the A1 Gen 2 and the P6, both in stereo pairs. I will now never again buy a single Bluetooth speaker. They work so much better as a pair that it makes no sense not to. The A1 Gen 2s, paired up, sound like a much bigger hi-fi system. The depth and the impact are significantly enhanced, and it is not just that they are louder — they are not that much louder. What really happens is that you get more of the music. Each device is only carrying one channel, so it can commit more of its hardware to less of the music, and when they are together, the sound is bigger and more complete. Hence the added depth.

Also, there are parts of the music that just do not exist until the speakers are in a stereo pair. The voices can tend to float between the speakers, which is wonderful, if a little disorienting, haha. The B&O speakers in stereo pair are a force to be reckoned with.

I have not tried the Level as a pair, but I think, from listening to your demo, that I had better have my wallet out when I test them, as they might demand payment. That would mean dropping £2,000 on two portable speakers. I am not sure how the wife and kids would feel about that, but the quality is undeniable.

How do they compare to the Beoplay Balance in stereo pair? That is a comparison I would like to see, or hear about.

Could you also do the same thing with the Beosound a5. Stereo pairing them and reviewing the effects?

The difference is clear, but it’s as you would expect. I have had a pair of Balances in the past, sold one as I have got myself a pair of Lab 8s. But I still love a pair of Balances. Surprisingly capable. I love the Balance on its own but paired it is mindblowing. However, what I’d be very curious about is a pair of BS2s. Could you please make a similar comparison? Thanks in advance!

Quick question: can you watch movies while the speakers are stereo paired (e.g. via AirPlay), or is there too much delay? Have you tried it?
And if I have the GVA version, can I only pair it with another GVA, or with any version? Since B&O stopped selling GVA, I guess I’d have to look for a used one.

Doesn't a 2 tweeter 2 woofer setup make it stereo? So one Level is already stereo. Obviously 2 gives a better separation but it doesn't make it more stereo?

Ya estoy enamorado de este altavoz porque es como una obra de ingeniería tiene el tamaño de un folio que es de diferencia a todos y el aspecto físico parece que no tiene que mover mucho aire pero mueve mucho aire por lo pequeño que es aquí está gracia de altavoz escucho muchísimo música diariamente tengo un negocio un Hotel no llevo todas las plantas por eso tengo experiencia y es un todoterreno música discoteca música rock música es verdad que él se mueve muy bien con el terreno de voces música clásica pero no engañéis en rock en en en discoteca Dance de los años 90 se defiende perfecto yo no cambiaría y lo venderé nunca y tengo dos equipos un pro en mi casa focal monitores de gama alta y tengo otro equipo  Hifi con amplificador está claro que
elac gama alta, todo completo y este pequeñín no se queda atrás está claro que el equipo en mi casa y fui está por encima ya por la física pero  los levels con mi Hugo dos ya son dos altavoces pequeñines muy serios y puede compararse ya casi con equipos de gama bastante alta ojo. Level es un pequeñín  q lo llevas a todos lados con un sonido espectacular con D o sin Dac .
