Just days after the release of the new Beosound Premiere, we wanted to put it through its paces and test the new patent pending wide stage technology and also compare it to the Beosound Stage.

As with all stereo microphone sound tests, this just gives an idea of the sound and can never compare to listening in person. We hope this video is helpful but to experience it for yourself, click the links below!

Really enjoyed your videos thus far. Very well explained, great content, many questions get answered that may not be covered by others, and your thoughts sound genuinely authentic. Please make more full-format videos instead of shorts, just a bit more pro :). Looking forward to your next ones. As for the Premiere, listening to this on the H95s, it has got impressive sound which really came across when compared to the Stage. The two are miles apart, but they’d better be since there is a price gap :). I’ve got a Theatre and it would be interesting to hear this compared to the Premiere, but I am definitely not in need of a Premiere. If I were in the market the Premiere would be a great option. It’d be cool if B&O managed to transform it into a Beovision like they turned the Stage into the Contour.

The Premiere sounds great. Very wide open sound you can tell is built for films etc, looks sexy too. But yeah a sub would help. Give it some rear speakers and it will be an amazing surround setup. Have to bear in person to see if it's worth the high price tag, but B&O kit does tend to last and last.

Surely it’s not a fair comparison against the stage if Upmix and Virtualize aren’t enabled?

I just bought the Stage and I love it! Eventually an upgrade would be nice

@MrModikoe 11 months ago

wow that's a fantastic piece of technology B&O have created with the Spacial Enhancement. Normally such tech are gimmicky but this is strictly not the case.

Can it bear the Sony Quad at immersion?

Big difference!!

some more info on what you can do with a powerlink connexions would be good because The Info out there is non existent. Also why are they moving away from the metal finish It means it doesn't go with anything else I bought previously. Stupid idea. thanks for the vid

The highs sound a bit too harsh especially at a higher volume needs the treble turned down a bit. The overall sound is very good as well as the separation so good. In person I’m sure it will sound better on the highs.

Curious is it possible to keep that wake up light on? Would love to look at in my dim living room it’s gorgeous

Thx! Loving it already, just to be of more finesse, at what db I shd place rear speaker + internal premiere speakers during/as per different genres of music

Beosound stage sounds like it is on Party mode and Premier sounds like in Speech mode, Stage has the B&O sound signature (if U know U know) Premier however can be easily mistaken for something else in the market. Premier will be best suited for movies but Stage in my opinion is unmatched overall. Is like Beolab 90 in small box
