This is the Story of how i tried to beat MGS3 in the most difficult way I could think of. The Story of the origins of the Legendary Solider Big Boss on a mission to the Russian Jungles to take out the Cobra Unit. It was a journey that took us a long time, but it was a lot of fun!

Fast forward two years later and on MGS Delta. DSP drowned in the mud (not the swamp) after getting tail swiped by a croc.

7:46 - putting the clips on-tempo with the lyrics like that is always an appreciated touch, in my opinion

(EDIT): didnt realize it was a Recurring thing...soon ill develop a Pavlovian reaction, to reach for some Bandages next time i hear "What a Thrill..."

35:00 You can stun lock Volgin for a bit by throwing a tree frog in front of him and slamming him when he tries to zap it. If you time it right you will interrupt his attack and the tree frog will survive. Volgin gets up and will go for the frog again. Also, Russian glowcaps thrown in the arena will divert his electric attacks to them. Just don' stand between his right arm and a mushroom or you may get hit.

Challenge runs like this usually lose my interest very quickly but you've a great style and excellent narration that keeps me invested. I also love the way you track failures too.

What an amazing run. I never knew about the max health gain trick! That's really cool!

Something I've discovered, and I don't think it's covered in the manual, but when you're fighting The Boss, there's a trick you can do to recover from a botched CQC attempt. Normally, if you mis-time it, she'll grab you, hit you to stun you, and then throw you to the ground. If you press the Weapon button instead of the CQC button at around the time she does the hit, Snake will do a counter-grab and twist out of her grasp. Not only does it give you a second chance to throw her if you screw up the CQC timing, but it looks really cool, too!

This really took me back to the countless hundreds of hours spent in this game... the trying silly things...staying too late on a school night when I first fought The End only for him to sneak up on me and send me on my way 90 mins into fighting him 😅.....calling my brother to my room when I finally figured how to CQC The Boss consistently .... so many fun memories. Thanks for the video man!
