props to this model, holding the same exact pose for approximately 5 hours while the same exact photo was taken via one million different camera and lighting configurations.
This video is pure gold for anyone integrating the CFV 100C with a V-System camera. The level of precision needed for shutter timing adjustment is crucial, and this step-by-step guide makes it seamless. Hasselblad continues to blend classic aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, and the results are breathtaking. It's amazing to see Hasselblad keeping the legendary V-System alive with modern digital innovation. Who else is using the CFV 100C, and what’s your experience been like?
This is the information I was looking for, thank you! I'm migrating digital backs from Phase One to Hasselbald for my ALPA camera. Glad to hear the Hasselblad 100C will work seamlessly with my Copal lenses. Cheers
note: at 4:09 the 'T' lever doesn't work like that, it only functions on the BUTTON, it locks it, the cable release hits the switch further inside this sleeve, which the button also hits. To do what you are showing, aka for live view, you need a CF lens and set it to F mode, to keep the shutter open, then operate the m-up switch, or press the paddle of the 200 series rearwards, this opens the shutter/Baffle, so you can now see through the camera +lens, re-cock to shoot.
Hasselblad would benefit from a larger sensor - 6x4.5, similar to H6d-100. Everything else every other camera company has already done in medium format.
WOn't it be great if you can modernize the 500 series or bring it back like leica did with M6? That shutter sound and the way it's used is just legendary. Using the 907x feels lifeless.
Having just bought one and it's in transit to me... may I ask please, why is this necessary out of the box? and the clip says turn screw to increase/decrease depth, but how does this relate to the shutter speed and how is this tested please? Why is this not described in the op manual?
I hope that tomorrow I get my hands on a full system 500C/M... I own the X2D but now I need the digital back too, the mighty CFV 100C. I hoped the GAS is over since moving to X2D... well, nope.
