I never get bored of the quality of your work and attention to detail!

Interesting points made about prices and the choice of spare parts to use.

Thank You for the video Dean.

Yay, the parts washer - I know, I am a saddo, but a bit of honest fixing is good to see.  Getting those difficult screws out was interesting - a good comment about taking your time because of you break one, you're into all sorts of pain.

Dean, Thanks for the lesson on Bosch Hammer parts pricing.

1 that we love to see dean now need a repairthon 😊

Very calming watching this service. I couldn’t have the old parts and new parts on the bench at the same time though, things would go badly for me 😳

You're an amazing person, most service techs would pull the 2 o-rings from the full service kit and charge them full price and keep the extra bits to charge the next guy.
I wish there was more people like you in the world.

13:56 That oil seal has been soaking in kerosene well before you mention saving it lol. But its probly still good.

21:30 never mind that seal was swollen before the wash.

Great video Dean. Lots of useful information, and just a joy to watch!
And what a magnificent machine that thing is...no wonder they stop making it, that thing never fails, just service it and it will last forever.

Another great fix, Dean. I was concerned when you were trying to unscrew the top cover with force, and that big screwdriver slipping and stabbing you in your left arm. 😱

"A piece of paper to write your thoughts on". very funny. 😁😅

That old service tag really was a suprise,  Dean never seen one of those.

something wrong with this episodes video clarity specially before the parts washer part. after that all are good 👍 thank you for your video, its medicinal for me 😊

Excellent vid thanks Dean 👍

Made that look all too easy Dean 😂😂😂

Fascinating repair 👍🏻👌🏻

The piece of paper in the service kit is for corrosion prevention. It’s soaked with a chemical that then evaporates into a vapor that coats steel parts and prevents them from rusting.

Damn shame you can not buy those any more..  that is a smart hammer.

When Dean mention that it is not the original oil i imagined him tasting it

What grease and oil do you use for assembly?

The glued screw needs to be heated, a lighter with an extension is sufficient.
