Like many companies these days, Lidl has decided they want a slice of the DIY-er market - and what better way to do that than with your own line of power tools?
With other budget brands such as Ryobi, Erbauer and Einhell all jostling for this busy but very much lively end of the market, I’m keen to see if Lidl’s offering can keep pace with the competition.

I’m not a tool reviewer or even a particularly avid home DIY fanatic - but what I do know is how to test a battery to within an inch of its life.

In this video we’ll be testing the limits of Lidl’s Parkside X20V Team batteries - they’re Lithium Ion items with a rating of 20 volts and come in 2 ampere hour and 4 ampere hour flavours.
Did I buy just one of these? Nope, of course not - I have both variants here. Let’s see what they’re capable of!

Product: Lidl Parkside X20V Team Lithium Ion Batteries; 2Ah and 4Ah
Microscope: 4.3" 'coin microscope' from Temu - item ID HC3670975 (I'll make a separate video for this at some point)

The product in this video was chosen and paid for by me, with no input from any outside sources.
