I believe she labeled herself Christian while simultaneously pushing manifestation which boarder line satanic.
Pushing that ideology to millions of woman has definitely made an impact and I wouldn’t call it positive.

I fell for that “secret” new age stuff for a season, I now see it as just a stepping stone as I was seeking, thank God he still guided me to Orthodoxy🙏☦️☦️☦️

Modern media in general accelerated the fiction of the subjectivity of truth, i.e. “my truth”, but those seeds were planted back in Descartes’ declaration of “I think, therefore I am”. He posited that all he could know for certain was himself so self became the arbiter of truth.

Thank you for your videos. I can resonate with much of what you say and your experiences. My family and I were Protestant and received into the Holy Orthodox Church a couple weeks ago. It was 2-3 year journey that did not come without hardship, but Glory to God we are here together. Please keep the videos coming. I have sent several to family and friends who are asking questions, but not ready for an apologetic/theological/debate type response. You do a nice job of giving people something to consider- or as I tell my husband- putting a pebble in their shoe. ☺️

First I would like to express my support and appreciation for all the content you post. As an Orthodox Christian from an Orthodox country (Serbia), I have been going to the Holy Liturgy and receiving Holy Communion for 30 years, but the subtlety of your thoughts surprises and delights me. Oprah is important but for a broader view of modern times it might be useful to watch the BBC documentary "The Century of the Self".

Actually, I can't think of anything Oprah Winfrey contributed to my thinking.  I have never looked to any media personalities (talk show hosts, etc.) to guide my thinking.  That she was so popular is not the sickness; it is a symptom of the sickness of so many people surrendering their minds to the media.

She definitely didn’t help. But it was a team effort.

I told people going back to the early1990s, that this woman was the most Dangerous Woman in the WORLD... and she was.

Let's not forget Oprah's greatest contribution to America: accusing a young female shopkeeper in France of being racistb because she was a little snooty towards her. "If I, as a black woman, feel that you are being racist, then you are being racist, no matter the evidence."

on propaganda: I think consciousness develops, in part, through our gradual discovery of how reality works—including how our own psychology and minds work. It is similar to a magic trick: once you discover how the trick is performed, it loses much of its power over you. You can still understand what the magician is doing, but you can no longer experience the illusion in quite the same way.

I think the same principle applies to propaganda and psychological manipulation. They work by exploiting mechanisms in the brain that we are not consciously aware of. But once the mechanism is exposed—once you understand how you were being influenced—the trick can stop working. You can even be left almost stunned by how effective it was before you understood it. The manipulation itself may not have become weaker; rather, your awareness of the mechanism has fundamentally changed your relationship to it.

We experienced something like this with the psychological operation a couple of years ago. I think the United States is experiencing a similar dynamic around the trans agenda. In the absence of a transcendental grounding, there is still an unavoidable sense of teleology—a tendency to search for meaning, direction, and purpose that we cannot simply escape. At the same time, we now have an enormous internet filled with ideas, narratives, ideologies, and psychological frameworks, many of which are profoundly destructive or simply very bad ideas.

What I think we are witnessing is the collision of these different systems of meaning on a global scale. I see something almost like egregors—collective psychological structures formed around shared beliefs, emotions, symbols, and narratives—colliding with one another across the internet and through society. Each one can acquire its own momentum, reinforce itself through the minds of the people participating in it, and begin to behave almost like an independent force. truthfully there is only one christianity, and others I guess only God brings people to the one christianity through that mess .... reality is that God makes good out of our mess and our wonderings by healing our relationship with Him , but then again being white and black about it is I think (and I'm biased due to me recovering also)
