It's Record Store Day 2026! Today we're riding our bikes around Ottawa to our favourite local record shops in search of vinyl. We start with a little all terrain biking and then ride city streets and bike paths. Brendan is riding his Wilde Supertramp and Emma is riding her Bassi Hog's Back. We ride to one of our favourite cafes and enjoy a slow day on the bikes here in Ottawa. For the audiophiles in the room we talk about our hi-fi stereo setup and share our record store day vinyl haul

I took my Supertramp out to some flowy MTB trails yesterday and had someone comment that I'd enjoy the trails more when I finally get a mountain bike. I laughed and told him I have a carbon FS already. A little does he know that I have twice as much money into the Supertramp. The bike snobbery is real, whether it's mountain biking, gravel or road. I'm so over it. I get excited whenever I see any bike. We're all part of the same club. BTW, I am very impressed with the fork of the Supertramp handling those trails.
Spent the whole day listening to records and chatting with Ms. Slopes about music and records and life in general.
It was a good day.
