It's a birthday ride! Today we're riding our bikes all around Ottawa and taking in cafes and all the city riding we can handle. We spend a lot of time taking photos on the Fujifilm X100V. We talk about life lessons since we're celebrating our birthdays. It was also our first spring ride of the year so we had some bike maintenance to do first -installing new PDW Full Metal fenders, installing some Panaracer Gravel King tires, and installing a new casette. Brendan is riding the Velo Orange Chessie (monster gravel bike) and Emma is riding a Bassi Hog's Back (bikepacking, all terrain, touring bike).

This quality of this video was insane. You guys have seriously have found your niche. The footage, the voiceover but especially the music choice just wraps it up as such a polished product. I’m taking notes of all the cafes, restaurants and even photo spots for when I visit Ottawa by bike next time. Fantastic guys, happy birthday and keep shredding 🤙🏼

The cheese pull at Red Door with the dust/leaf tornado outside the window was sick

I love the pace and feel of this channel. I wish my city (Bristol) didn't have so many hills and bad narrow cycle lanes but we have amazing countryside to escape to. Lots of love - a fellow millenial.

Seriously, the quality of these videos are top notch. From the presentation to the storytelling, you guys have a very distinct style compared to all the other channels I watch and I really dig it.

One learns a lot about life from grief. I lost my father last summer and am experiencing the "all of us passing through life" moment at 53. Love your channel!

Buds, can I just say, the music in this one was excellent! I especially liked the jazzy tune during the city flow segment. And the melodic metal during the golden hour waterfall sequence was just spot on to underline the gorgeous visuals. Videos on this channel always have such an immaculate vibe. I really appreciate it. Well done!

And also a belated happy birthday to the both of you!

Another absolute winner of a video - we have been really enjoying the spring colors and sunshine out west, I feel like as the years go by I enjoy spring more and more.

Thanks for putting out more stoke - as much as I love riding in the woods and on the gravel, it's the everyday rides through my city that have attached me deeply to this place. All rides are good rides!

Your videos genuinely bring me so much joy. So much content nowadays is aimed at garnering fear or anger but your videos make me so happy, knowing there are fellow people who value these sources of happiness. And of course your video making skills are just excellent. The music choices in particular always impress me. And the shots of the river were so gorgeous. Thank you as always for sharing ❤

Beautifully done, with great depth of insights. Thank you for your vulnerability and for sharing. You inspired me to pause the video halfway through, go ride around my neighborhood for an hour and a half, then come back and finish the vid. Happy birthday to you both!
