To be honest, exploding in a fraction of a millisecond sounds like one of the least horrific ways to die, providing you are not anticipating it.

6:47 every animal down there has evolved to pick up slight changes in vibrations and lights then we rock up with a noisy light bulb and wonder why it’s empty lol

The submarine costs millions, the trip takes hours, and the reward is a blurry photo of a worm

@SleepyGary69 3 days ago

This video doesn’t even mention the fact that every deep water creature is violently repulsed by the flood lights we have which would be to them the equivalent of several suns

I love how relentlessly the ocean says “no thanks go away”

2:41 I'm sure the Grand Canyon doesn't care much about insults. Not at his age.

Idea: since most thumbnails on the blue channel include the word "RUN" to ragebait people, you should include "SWIM AWAY" on some of the Green channel thumbnails

Something about the thumbnails like this just make me not want to click it...

But I love deep sea exploration so here we are...

"water just physically ruins everything" same energy as "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere." ahahaha

0:45 using the titan submarine as an example of a trashed sub is cold but also very apt

@Depravedratman 8 days ago

''dont go in'' well i wasnt planning on it but thanks for reiterating that???

@SilentSecrets_0 8 days ago

Millions spent on the submarine, hours spent on the trip, and all for a blurry photo of a worm

@noahpage6025 3 days ago

I used to think we just hadn’t “unlocked” that area yet but now I realise it’s just the “fog of war” to “end of map”

The blurred face camera inserts are a really jarring experience

Suggestions:
1. Lake Baykal
2. Dead Sea
3. Coral Reefs
4. Which animals travel through Bering straight?
5. How electric eels/rays work?
6. Ancient fish, that live today?
7. Crocodiles/alligators.

@fletcher5148 12 days ago

blurred out face cam will always be weird

@ope_game14 12 days ago

8:20 a mother submarine 50m down. Eight cables with eight mini drones at the ends. Snag the cable, the drone is programmed to detach and surface. The drones can be powered by batteries on the mother submarine, the motion can come from higher up the cable. The light for the camera can be in wavelengths not seen by the local wildlife.
