"The pizza has so much butter"

Croissant has entered the chat

Max miller is so awesome.

Can't believe youtube kept this hidden from me for a whole 29 seconds 😠

I'm eating pizza while watching this.

Pizza truly is one of the most wonderful food inventions ever.

Margharita pizza is very often an option around here. The most common is the “NY pizza”, which is often called “Neapolitan”, and Sicilian, which is a square/rectangle with a thick crust, and Margharita, which is also called “grandma”.

Part of the tradition for my family is eating Chinese takeout on Christmas Eve.

One year, my mother didn't want to make anything after Christmas Eve service, and we have a Chinese family that owns a restaurant called China House right in town. They don't celebrate Christmas, so they were open, and we ordered a bunch of takeout.

It's been a tradition of ours ever since, and we've spoken to many who share that tradition with us. It seems to be a unique staple of our town of Beaver, PA.

I worked as a pizzaiolo in North Carolina for a while at a place that was obsessed about high quality ingredients. The owner was a terrible businessman and the place eventually shutdown, but it was some of the best pizza I ever had.

I do agree with Chris that leftover pasta and pizza are the best and taste as good the next day

Please more Tasting History!!!

I grew up in an Asian household where we would eat a lot of rice with meals and sometimes we'd cook a ground beef tomato spaghetti for dinner. Sometimes we'd have leftover sauce and finish all the pasta, so we'd eat it with rice instead. It was kinda bomb because the rice soaks up anything so well and pairs perfectly with the beef. I remember getting the glare of judgment from telling my friends this story, but it's really quite better tasting than it sounds.

I love watching Tasting History, I bought Max’s Cookbook a year ago Christmas and have made several of the ancient recipes and my family and friends have all loved them!
By the way I grew up having cold Pizza for breakfast many times, especially after a Pizza & Beer Party the night before!
Keep up the good work Chris, Love your channel!

One tradition I have is about making nachos. Rather than just loading up a bunch of chips with stuff and putting them in the oven, my dad made each chip individually. He'd get tortilla chips, put a small dollop of refried beans on each, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, a slice of jalapeno, a couple slices of black olive. He'd load up a baking tray full of them, then pop 'em into the oven until the cheese melted then got a little brown on top. They were a staple of Super Bowl games when I was a kid, growing up, and it's something that I've kept alive in his memory. Also, because they're fantastic!

22:15 on Christmas my family always does a different food theme. We’ve had taco bars, pasta bars, traditional ham dinners and I’m gonna probably convince my family to do pizza this year after watching this video. 😂

The timing of vid this has convinced me to get pizza tonight

The year I moved to my current city, I was alone on Thanksgiving, and most of the nearby restaurants were closed. An Indian place was open, and I've eaten Indian food for Thanksgiving every year since

That comment about writing mundane things down actually reminds me of how a recipe in my family became a family recipe. Every Christmas, my aunt sent a batch of various types of cookies to each of her siblings--my father among them. However, her recipes weren't anything she'd committed to paper. She's still around as of posting, but she's pretty old now. My sibling took it upon themself to collaborate with our aunt and write the recipes down. Now my sibling's the one who makes the cookies and sends them out each year--they also designed a vegan variant for sharing with some of their friends.

I see Max went full mafiosi with that.

“Pop quiz, hotshot”

And I’m here for it.

I can eat Pizza leftovers any time, depending on how good it is I can eat it cold too (as in it's been in the fridge for a night)
