Rest in Peace Brendan Grace. A commedian who never swore on stage. You were such a tonic. Thank you for all the laughs over the years ❤️

Brendan was a treasure from the 70s on. Unlike the modern comedians there was no agression or constant use of bad language. He used everyday life so expertly eg at that time in Ireland it was a scandal for an unmarried girl to get pregnant and he was helping to open discussions about that using humour.

You know, something important to get a handle on for when you come to Ireland is the Irish sense of humor. We tend to kinda roast each other to be friendly, and we roast ourselves too. There's a few great Irish comedy that show it well if you ever wanted to watch clips of them or even episodes. Father Ted, Derry Girls, Killinaskully, Mrs Brown's Boys.
