In the midst of World War II, British intelligence uncovers a covert German operation using the neutral harbor of Goa to relay Allied ship movements to U-boats. Colonel Lewis Pugh and Captain Gavin Stewart are sent undercover to expose the network, only to have their initial plan catastrophically fail when a key spy dies in a botched kidnapping. With time running out and the enemy codes still in German hands, the duo must rally a group of retired soldiers aboard an old ship, posing as carefree vacationers, while Gavin entangles himself in a dangerous liaison with the spy’s mysterious partner, setting the stage for a daring mission to sabotage the Nazi operation.

Absolutely worth watching 😊. No country can survive unless honour and patriotism will be kept alive 😊. Wonderful actors ❤

This feature is 'chocked' full of 'headliner' talent with the likes of David Niven, Gregory Peck, Roger Moore, and many more as cast members, too numerous to give all recognition, but nonetheless important for the total outcome and impact this movie accomplished. Accolades are bestowed upon the real-life WWII hero, in the personage of and British actor known as David Niven, who rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel while serving as a member of the elite British Commandos during World War II.

As a former member of the US Marine Corps, I am truly humbled and impressed by the thoughts of all Mr. Niven achieved in his lifetime. I also am embarrassed by the fact that, having grown up in the early 1940s and 1950s watching David Niven perform on the silver screen, it took until I am in my 'twilight' years to recognize those facts concerning his many contributions to society.

Kind of film i watched as a kid.Looking at it now it should be renamed the Sea Fossils. You would not see a bunch of geriatrics like this on a mission in any war.David Niven was an actual war hero but was 30 years younger than portrayed here.
