You should do a series of original content on common nuclear concerns like thorium reactors (pros and cons, who is working on them, how they fit into the energy mix, etc), the main types of breeders and their history, molten salt reactors, pebble bed reactors, and the types of nuclear waste and disposal issues from power plants. Don't need to do each subject all in one video, can do miniseries if needed. But getting it from a nuclear engineer would be fantastic. And then see if you could get a nuclear regulations expert to talk too
I can't see nuclear fusion ever being economically viable in my remaining lifetime. Fission is so much easier because radioactive isotopes are looking for a reason to fission. Fusion on the other hand is like trying to herd cats. Deuterium is quite happy being itself - you have to be extremely cruel to it to make it do anything.
7:20 "Can you change lanes?" The answer should be "yes, but it's going to cause a massive pileup", which probably isn't too bad of an analogy when it comes to fusion containment.
Thank you for commenting on this fusion tech, I watched the original video a short time ago and was truly impressed with this approach (not knowing it a-priory), to be honest this Z-pinch is my favorite for the "holy grail" of energy production.
I’m tired of YouTube embellishments and Tyler Folse is refreshing to watch as he dismantles the over dramatizations aka lies for clicks. BTW, University of Washington is a great school. My son is in mechanical engineering graduate school there and my son debunks anything I share with him like you TFolse. Great channel. Don’t stop. Ever! 😊
