Why are the Swords some of the most brutal cards in the Tarot?
In this episode, we uncover the hidden astrological story running from the Two to the Ten of Swords. We’ll explore how Libra, Aquarius and Gemini combine with the seven classical planets to create peace, heartbreak, defeat, anxiety and ultimately ruin, and discover why the suit associated with logic and reason manages to spend nine cards making everything progressively worse.

I always have to remember, anytime I get an air card, to say to myself...

"Remember... it's an AIR card!"

LOL- My Sun is in the 2nd Decan of Gemini in the 8th house, and I said to myself the other day “Wow, why is the card assigned to it (seemingly) so brutal?!” And then this video shows up on my feed! 😊 I have so much more clarity and a better perspective! Thanks so much for your work. I love how you combine wisdom and humor- it’s super healing for me.

Thank you so much. Really appreciate your explanation and break down of Tarot overall. It's been a huge help as I'm learning. Your humor also makes it fun to learn about and not so boring 💪😁

I have my Moon in the third decan of Gemini, and I was initially like, "X of Swords?!?! Why can't I have a cool card! This is depressing!!" Upon reflection, I've come to realize that is pretty accurate (Saturn square not helping). Other people seem to notice this about me better than myself 🥴. The swords are useful for bringing a sharp awareness to the situation, though I have to pass through the denial phase first.. Makes sense how diurnal planets and Mercury do much better here.

in the Thoth deck, "Sorrow"/ 3 of Swords, the bottom sword is the "sword of the magician" and it is breaking the other two swords that at holding you back.

In my experiance, what some people might preceive as bad news from a tarot reading is, most of the time a blessing in disguise. For example, the other day I did a Situation, Challenge, Advice and the I got the the ace of wands, the devil and the tower. On the surface it would appear like this is what the end looks like. But what it really did was tell me that there is something in my shadow that's steering me in the wrong direction. I have drive to do what I need to do, I just need to change course and do things differently. Now I have. I identified what was in my shadow and spent all last week tearing down old ambitions and refocusing and I now have that feeling you get when you're on the right path.

Very informative. I like the Golden Dawn names for the cards, they fit well. Been doing and studying tarot for two years but so much to always learn. You have a humorous and clear way of presenting material.
