"You watch any movies recently?"
"It's complicated..."

As a 10 year old kid I saw Skullclamp's negative stats and dismissed it scornfully, knowing slagwurm armour was where it was really at.

I appreciate you using the first printing of each card rather than their most recent ones. It shows the amount of dedication and care you put into your work even for something so innocuous.

When this gets updated next year it will be an hour longer from all the sets

Seeing that hymn and necropotence sure takes me back to the good ole days

I remember pulling a full art Oko... and immediately selling it because I could smell the ban incoming

This channel helps me as a player find new cards that help my decks and I'm 100% here for it

I disagree with Armageddon for Revised. Balance or Wheel of Fortune are better, and used in a variety of decks. And if you count ante cards, then Contract From Below is by far the best.

7:12 My favorite thing to do with Maze of Ith was in my Legacy deck. When I would connect with a creature equipped with Sword of Feast and Famine, I could tap the Maze to untap my equipped creature in response to the Sword’s trigger, effectively giving my creature vigilance. 😂

Chandra over Copter for Kaladesh is a BAFFLING choice. CToD's comp success is limited to a few t3 modern and pioneer decks, and copter was banned in two formats

idk why but the way you said "sire of seven deaths" was so badass

Damn, courser of Kruphix gives back so many memories... Such a nostalgia

Hmm, "Akroma's second run in Standard" had a bit of a second run in the video itself.

When I first saw Akroma I thought it was the absolute coolest card I'd ever seen. It felt like a privilege casting her. And now, all these decades later.....I still feel that way. Original Akroma is what Magic is all about

Biggest surprise of this whole video was at 2:56:53. After the first jumpstart set was talked about, I was so sure that Scythecat Cub was going to be the pick for this set.

TIL that Dreadhorde Arcanist was in that set too.
