That Japan vs South Africa try was in extra time, and won them the match. One of the greatest upsets I can remember.

The beauty of rugby is that is fluid. It does not stop start for bullshit.

Around February/March every year we have the "6 Nations" championship featuring England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Italy and France when they all play against eachother with games every weekend over around 5 weeks. Definitely worth watching

So glad to see someone watching the real best of Rugby not just the "hits" stuff. This content has so much more to offer.

6:06 This is what France is known for. They can run the ball from their goal line to yours in seconds.

The big difference for me between American football and rugby, or other sports such as cricket is that American sports have too many time outs and breaks to discuss the plays etc. As a fan I like watching two fourty minute halves of non-stop action with the only breaks being for injuries etc. Cricket is the same, you can play for five days, with breaks being for lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea. As a fan you can drink beer in the sun while you watch!

The second test of the Great Britain & Irish Lion tour against Australia, played last weekend (26 July 2025) was won of the most exciting games ive seen in a while, def worth a watch

7:20 John Kirwin running through the entire Italian team.  Fast forward a few years, and he is their coach.

That forward pass knocked the All Blacks out of the world cup! We will never forget!

Loved watching this since I was lucky enough to be at 3 of the games (at least): Lions v NZ (Sean O'Brien), Eng v Aus (Chris Ashton), Jpn v SA (Karne Hesketh). The Japan win in 2015 World Cup, the greatest game of rugby I've ever seen and I've seen 100s live!

The try seen from 6:38 to 7.06 is actually by the USA against South Africa in the 2007 World Cup, scored by Takudzwa Ngwenya.

Man, rugby is awesome.

Some real classic tries, I luv my rugby, heartbreak, and joy, lol, stoked to see more appreciate our game, cheers eh

Great to see you using the,"I'm straighter than that one."I can't remember but there was probably no video checking when that try was scored.

Fiji was such a awesome team back in the 90s

There's one try in there, around 6.20 on your video, that the French called 'the try from the end of the world'. It was the last play of the match, France were trailing New Zealand, and the whole tour and series depended on it. It was also one of the greatest of all time tries, even without the context. That was in 1994, in New Zealand. Fantastic...and I'm English.

❤❤❤

Some seriously awesome tries for sure (a couple even more so with some more context - eg the Japan score vs SA in the last seconds in a World Cup game has to be one of the biggest upsets ever, and Dawsons try for BIL vs SA only makes sense from the front on angle that they dont show, as he dummies 5 bok defenders, all of whom bought it!)
But then I've no idea why the Scotland then Ireland tries around 5 mins were included as both basic scores you see every game.
Regardless, glad youre enjoying the game. But how awesome would it be if American Football had even 10% of the flow and invention that rugby delivers as standard, beyond the occasional last seconds play?

Always love some Nigel Owens rep lmao

That forward pass won France the World Cup against New Zealand in 2007. We were not happy
